Coworkers

My name is Casandra. I'm a sophomore in college and I decided to work at McDonald's to earn some extra money. I may seem like everybody else but in not. I'm a witch and nobody knows but my closest friends ans family.

Anyway, there's this guy I work with and I hate him. His name is Dylan. He always acts like a fool whenever I work with him and it seems like he makes the other female coworkers uncomfortable. I guess what I'm saying is he seems like a creep and I hate creeps.

One day at work I ended up casting a curse on him that slowly destroys the thing he loves most. It takes a month or two to take full effect so we will have to wait and see what happens.

*Three weeks later*

It turns out I'm the only one who feels uncomfortable around Dylan. I talked to a few coworkers about him and they said the only ok ne who makes them feel uncomfortable is a guy named Jake who works the days I don't and sometimes the shift before I do. They liked Dylan though so I guess I'm the only one who doesn't.

Dylan hasn't mentioned anything about people or pets getting seriously ill. I'll wait onither couple weeks to see what happens.

*Two weeks later*

I woke up this morning with a bad case of allergies. I really hope they go away soon. When I got to work I noticed that Dylan had the day off so that was a plus. But he still hasn't said anything about the thing he loves most. On the bright side there's only a month left for the curse to run its course so we will wait and see what happens.

*Two weeks later*

Only two more weeks and the curse will have claimed another life. Luckily I don't work today because my allergies have turned into something else. I've been feeling symptoms of a disease that could kill someone.

That's when it dawned on me. I'm the thing he loves most. I thought that was ridiculous so I went to his house to solve this and see if it's the effects of my curse. Who knows at this point.

When I got to his house I talked to him and learned a lot about him. It turns out he's really nice and sweet. He also goes to the same college as me. He also has a huge crush on me and had been wanting to ask me out for months but would always chicken out.

Upon talking to him some more I learned it was my curse backfiring on me. As we kept talking the curse slowly lifted and soon I was cured. I decided to give him a chance and go out with him. Maybe this was a wakeup call to not curse people or cast spells to make problems go away. All I know now is spells and curses sometimes backfire. I know I will definitely not be using that curse ever again.
