*Zions POV*
After texting Emily for a lil, the nerves I had went away. I don't really go on dates like this but I figured emilys not like any girl I've spoke to so she deserves to be taken out and treated properly. It is around 6:30 so I head to the shower. I get out and put my clothes on. I go into nicks room to annoy him which is what I do best

"Knock knock mothafuckaaa" I say

"whatsup dude" nick says looking up from his phone

"nothin I'm about to go pick Emily up for our date" I say sitting on his bed

"OH WORD THATS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW I FORGOT" nick said putting his phone down

I just laughed and shook my head

"u nervous at all?" He asked

"I was before but I'm not really anymore" I said confidently

"good don't be, Emily's really chill" he said reassuring me

"So where are u takin her?" He asked

"I'm gonna take her to Francesca's ( A/N: random restaurant) u know the one with the rooftop seating" I said

"OHHHH U TAKIN HER TO A NICE ASS RESTAURANT, WOW U REALLY LIKE HER" nick yells at me

"Alright alright relax. But a girl like her should be taken to a nice place" I say as he nods his head

"Who are u. You've turned from Zion to Caleb" he says all sophisticated

I shrug and tell him I gotta leave since it was already 7:45 and I didn't wanna be late. I dap him up and grab my keys.

*emilys POV*
"On my way" was what made my phone light up

"AHHH HES ON HIS WAY" I say yelling to lauren

"AHHH OKAY GET LAST MINUTE TOUCH UPS" lauren says scrambling around my room looking for my lip gloss

She finds it and I put it on. I wore something casual yet dressy. I wore a flowy cropped shirt that tied in the back with some jeans and wedged sandals.

"u look so good I think imma cry" lauren said pretending to wipe tears away

"Oh SHUTUPP" I said laughing while hugging her

"Here"

"HES HERE" I said yelling to lauren even thought we both looked at my phone at the exact same time

"OKAY LEMME WALK U OUT" she said going to get her slippers

I texted zion back letting him know that I was coming. I started to getting butterflies and a feeling that I haven't felt before.

"I can't I'm gonna throw up I can't" I said hyperventilating

"Oh no ma'am let's go" lauren said grabbing my arm pulling me out of my apartment

She locked up and we got the elevator. Lauren was jumping in the elevator and I was just pretending to cry. If someone walks in this elevator we're fucked 🤣. We got down to the lobby and lauren walked me out to the front where I saw zion leaning on his car with roses. Awwww.

"wow, I- don't have words. I'm shook" he says laughing at the last part

"stop" I say looking away

Lauren is just standing there staring at us and we both laugh at her. She says bye to us both and heads back inside.

"You really look so beautiful" Zion says hugging me

"Thank u, you look amazing" I say hugging him back

I held my heart and he laughed. He handed my the roses
