They say it's the land of the free, the heart of opportunities, The United States. Though, somehow the coiled and kinky hair children of the sun and produce of the dark continent have been the victim of racism and prejudice.
All these wonderful and amusing characteristics of this developed land have never been a blessing to the coloured people as they were never given the opportunity but somehow they always found a way to survive, somehow they found a way to live.
After physical slavery was said to be abolished, this despised nation was left to live as minorities, working for the said superior as a workman or maid.
But few battled the system making a dream into reality. Betty's Sweet Tooth company was apart of this uprising effort.
They've been around for centuries and today August 11, they finally announced they went bankrupt and are selling the company.
Betty's Sweet Tooth was a family-owned company and has never been owned by anyone outside of the Howard family until now.
Prided on making the country's best pastries and jams. They use sugar cane cultivated on a tropical island to make these tasty desserts.
In comes Ciara Laine and Dominic Kaplan both vying to buy the company but there's only space for one owner.
It's a rivalry of "may the best man win" but something else is formed through their encounter, something unfamiliar to these two beings and somehow they not only battle for success but dominance in every aspect of the word.
