looking at the car barely hanging at the edge of the bridge, jungkook feels an unexplainable emotion bubbling inside him. with just a little more movement, the car would fall down, crashing into the river. he shut his eyes, trying to ignore the heartbreaking scene in front of him.
no - angels are prohibited to interfere human's life.
"save.. save me.."
jungkook's breath hitched at the sound of a warm, clear voice ringing in the air. don't tell me...
"is anybody.. there? please.. save me.."
he could feel his heartbeat increasing rapidly, even though his heart is actually not even beating - at the sound of her voice. he takes a few steps to get a closer look, and he swear he could feel his heart skips a beat as he saw a girl - a pretty, pretty girl, seated at the driver seat of the hanging car, with her eyes half-closed, quick breaths, and blood all around her.
"save me.. i want to live.."
살려 주세요.. 살고 싶어요..
jungkook bit his lips harshly, before looking away, trying his best to ignore her. "i'm sorry, i can't help you.."
"please... i want to live... i wanted to die... every single day... but i want to live so badly now... please..."
"god damn it, why does her voice have to sound so damn clear?!" jungkook yells out loud, trying to get rid of the guilty feeling building up inside him.
no, he can't help her. he would disappear into thin air if he ever commit a sin. and the biggest sin of all - is to interfere human's life.
"save me... please..."
and the clear voice fades as the car tilted backwards, and in a blink of an eye, the car falls -
- no, jungkook shut his eyes tightly before mumbling a sentence, and the time stopped.
the car remains in the air, and he took a deep breath before spreading his wings and fly towards the car.
staring at the girl, whom eyes are closed tightly by now, jungkook could feel an immense rush of sadness within him.
she deserves to live.
he then open the front door, before lifting her up in his arms. she feels - warm. smiling a little, he tucks her hair behind her ear and lightly kissed all over her wounds, gradually making her wounds disappear.
flying back onto the bridge, he gently places her on the road. at that moment, he could feel a weird sensation rushing inside him.
as if, as if he's going to disappear...
jungkook fetched his angel handkerchief inside his pocket before placing it into her small fingers, as her fingers lightly gripped onto it.
kissing her forehead one last time, he whispers softly against her left ear.
"i'm giving my last breath to you, live well."
and he disappears into the thin air, as the handkerchief in her hand turns black.

this is so short agshdjd i'm sorry!! but this is inspired from a scene in a kdrama called angel's last mission : love. (y'all should give that drama a try, i cried tons hahah)
anyways, there's a week left before i finish my exams, and i'll have a long break after that! hopefully i'll be able to update a lot by then!
