I remember the smile on his face when he was ready to go, go fly straight to the middle of a war zone. He was so happy to be serving his country. his big brown eyes and his hair blowing in the wind, all suited up in a military print. I was gonna miss him, I was afraid if something were to happen to him in Vietnam, and I wouldn't see him again I couldn't live the same without him. Right before he went on the plane I gave him a tulip and one last kiss goodbye. On his way to Vietnam she is sweating bullets as bullets fly by the troops innocent troops that have no idea what they're fighting for but serving their country for what's right to them, dying in honor was the way they were going down. With half the battlefield covered in corpses he ended up making it through the night, but on his helicopter ride home afraid that would ruin his life, the frightened flash of light that will end him, and everything for his future. On the night of 1967 a evac brought all the surviving troops from the battle before hand back to the base, that night they were ambushed, there were no survivors sadly this man and all his friends had passed serving our country. Not even a day later his wife has gotten the letter back telling her about her husband's honor and loyalty. Her heart stops, she can't  breathe and her legs gave up on her. As she collapses to the ground, like a Jenga tower, in shock. He was only there for two Weeks now shes alone. There's a package on her padio too, and she slowly rips open the tape package to see a tulip inside of it.
