"Each picture holds a thousand words"
Shades of Us is a collection of short stories. Each short story is based on a single, randomly chosen picture and a story is born from that picture alone. Each picture holds a story and as a writer, it has become my job to find that story hiding within.

Some pictures may contain celebrities and may be from movies and tv shows. None of the stories correspond to any tv show or movie, they are fully born from my own head. I purposely ventured from pictures I knew from shows and movies. None of the stories are meant to attack those seen in the photos nor are they created with that person in mind. All stories are based on the pictures alone. Any comments attacking me for using someone they know will be reported and deleted.
None of the photos are mine, I own no rights to them. Credit will not be listed because Pinterest often lacks proper credit anyways. If the photos belong to you and you want credit, I will absolutely have no problem doing it. I just don't feel like scouring the internet for hours to find credit for one picture.
Although I own no rights to the photos, I do own the rights to my stories. If you steal my stories, I will come for you. If you want to write full stories based on the short stories, ask me before. I MAY SAY NO, ask anyways xx (I will always need credit) If you ever find a story that is either a direct copy or a stolen idea ANYWHERE where I am not credited, let me know privately so I can take action.

I was going to include a playlist for this story, but I could only find like two songs. (and of course, I had to attach that absolute J A M). If anyone has suggestions as they read, I'll jot them down and may add a playlist at a later time. My life revolves around music. Some chapters will have music attached that either inspired parts of the story or are featured in the writing, so I'd ask not to suggest music on those that already have music. You can leave your suggestions on this part so I can have them all in one place.♥️
