daniel runs up to corbyn's locker where the blond is stood, tapping him on the shoulder to gain his attention as he is a lot shorter than the older.

"oh, hi dani. what's up?" corbyn smiles down at the boy.

"can i ask you a favour?" daniel asks quietly, rocking back and forth on his feet nervously as a blush spreads across his cheeks.

"sure" corbyn nods.

"umm, so, basically- anna is having a friend over after school today and he really, really likes me" daniel begins, playing with his skirt as he talks. "i was just wondering if you could maybe... pretend to be my boyfriend while he's here?"

corbyn smiles, "yeah, that's fine, i can do that."

daniel's eyes seem to shine with both relief and happiness, standing on his tiptoes to wrap his arms around corbyn's neck.

"thank you, so much" he giggles, humming as corbyn wraps his arms around his waist in return.

"do you think i could get a ride back with you?" daniel asks sweetly, pulling far enough away to look corbyn in the eyes.

"of course" corbyn chuckles, pecking daniel's cheek.

daniel giggles at the contact, his cheeks tinted a soft pink.

corbyn pulls up at daniel's house, switching off his engine and climbing out of the car, daniel doing the same.

they begin walking up the brunet's driveway, stopping at the front door when daniel grabs corbyn's arm.

"wait, i don't know how to act... 'couple-y'. i've never had a boyfriend before" daniel mutters shyly, adjusting the flower crown on top of his head.

"don't worry, i'll lead the way" corbyn smiles reassuringly, grabbing daniel's hand and lacing their fingers, running his thumb over the back of the brunet's hand.

daniel looks up at corbyn with a soft smile, already feeling at ease with this whole situation.

so, he opens his front door, entering the house with corbyn by his side, their fingers still laced.

"hi dani- well who might this be?" keri asks with a smile as she sees the two, daniel blushing once again.

"umm, this is my boyfriend" daniel replies quietly.

"hello mrs. seavey, i'm corbyn besson" corbyn smiles, holding out his hand for the cheerful woman to shake.

keri gladly shakes his hand, already liking the boy's vibe.

"well corbyn, i'm keri, nice to meet you. you seem like a nice boy" she smiles, looking between the two.

"thank you, mom, but if you don't mind we're going to head upstairs" daniel says, beginning to walk away until his mom stops him.

"no, first you're going to go and say hi to jacob and anna. they're in the living room."

daniel groans before dragging corbyn into the living room, the blond noticing how tense the brunet is and wrapping his arms around his waist from behind.
