Laurel Origins
Laurel wakes up by a knock on the door, she rolls over and falls off the couch in response. She lazily gets back on the couch and checks the time. She huffs when her clock reads 7am. While making her way to the door she hears a man with a deep voice "Lady open up, i've got things to do."
In a groggy voice she utters, "Alright i'm coming jeez." When she opens the door she sighs in disappointment, "I told you, I'll have your money later this week."
The man pushes the door and makes his way inside. He paces around the small apartment room, "Your rent is past due and I'm tired of waiting. Get me the money by tonight or I'll invict you in the morning. I'll also be changing your locks once you leave so don't get any ideas."
Laurel crosses her arms while rolling her eyes, "I'll stay with my friend, now get out while I pack."
Job interview scene
Laurel walks into the nearest police station where she heads into the chiefs office for a meeting. She sits there while the chief stares at her with his cold menacing eyes, "You've been fired from all your previous jobs in other cities, even other states and yet you come here looking for a job." He says as he glances at the papers on the desk in front of him.
Laurel crosses her arms and leans forward, "I was fired for doing things my way, I helped put tons of dangerous criminals behind bars and I did it the best way I could."
"The best way? I should be arresting you right now since you still owe some time from when you shot that accused pedophile or maybe that time you let three men go free on the basis of, of what, tampered evidence. Explain these instances and maybe I'll let you mop the floors and do my laundry once in a while."
Laurel takes a few deep breaths while her eye starts twitching, "Those three men were only arrested because of racial profiling and you know it. The other guy was married to a thirteen year old and had three other wives. You only let him go because he was too known in the streets but I didn't care. I did the right thing and shoved my pistol right in his ass and pulled the trigger."
The chief reaches behind his back and grabs his hand cuffs while he gets up and walks behind Laurel, "I think twenty six hours in solitary confinement will change your mind."
"I knew this was a waste of time, I can't stand crooked cops anyway," Laurel says and he slams her against the wall and handcuffs her.
After a full day in lock up, Laurel's set free and makes her way back to her apartment. When she arrived she sees and eviction notice on the front door. She sighs before leaning up against her door. She slides down and sits their thinking.
Revy's apartment scene
Revy stands on her porch when she notices Laurel arrive in a cab. As she gets out the cab Revy yells down, "What happened to your car beautiful?"
"It was towed this morning so now I'm also broke since you live halfway across the damn city." Laurel says as she heads to the front door. "Can you let me in, I also lost my keys this morning so tough break."
Once inside Laurel sits down to relax in Revy's bedroom. Revy brings her a cup of tea and lays beside her, "Where you've been? I tried calling earlier."
"That bastard arrested me after my interview plus I got kicked out so I'll have to find somewhere to stay."
"You can stay here till then."
"But you're always so busy, wouldn't I just get in your way?"
"Stop worrying. How about i take care of your landlord and that idiot chief who locked you up. How about it."
"No thanks, after all, karma's a bitch."
"Yea well I thought you were gonna stay at your girlfriend's house, What happened?"
"She cheated on me so I keyed her car and I might of also beat up the man she cheated on me with so yeah that happened."
Just then Revy's phone rings, when she sees who's calling she leaves the room in a rush and closes the door behind her. Laurel places her ear up against the door when she hears yelling, "Why can't you idiots handle it, I'm busy! Fine but you owe me one, Gunner." Laurel jumps back on the bed just as the door opens. "Done being noisy I see. I'll be back sometime next week. You know the rules."
Revy opens her closet and grabs a duffle bag before saying goodbye. Laurel waves before turning on the t.v. and laying on the bed.
Death scene
Laurel wakes up when she hears a crash downstairs. She inches her way towards the closet and slowly opens it. She pulls out a steel case and opens it to reveal the rifle inside. A red dot on the wall to her right causes her to dive down. Just then bullets rampage the room causing objects in the room to shatter. Revy crawls under the bed and comes out the other side where she leans up against the wall under the shattered window. She sits there breathing radically as she notices a grenade enter the room a few feet from her.
Before she can react the grenade goes off in the room. Downstairs five masked men break down the door and rush upstairs along with the two assailants that were already inside. One of the masked men easily kicks the door in and they all enter the room. The man that kicked the door in takes off his mask then walks over to Laurel.
Laurel now covered in blood and badly injured barely manages to open her eyes, "Who, who are you?"
"The last person you're gonna see alive." He says as he pulls out his phone, "its me Jacob, it's not her, it's some other skank bitch. I say we kill this bitch and get outta here." Jacob pulls out his gun and aims it at Laurel. He looks at his men and motions for them.
He backs away as his men rush Laurel and begin pummeling her. After a while they back off while Jacob pulls the trigger, "Have fun in your next life bitch."
2. Rhonny Origin
Mob boss scene
Rhonny wakes up tied to a chair in a warehouse. He hears clapping from behind him so he screams out who's There. A man dressed in a suit walks in front of him with two tall bodyguards behind him.
Rhonny smiles and laughs, "Hey, my old pal Paul. You still go by Paul right, so, how you've been?"
Paul pulls out a gun and shoots Rhonny twice in both shoulders, "You wasted my money gambling at the casino instead of getting your education. Last time I checked I paid for you graduate not for you to dropout and to start going around doing God knows what. Why'd you do it."
"C'mon, we have so much history. Can't you let your son off with a warning, just this once?"
"You know what happens when your body reaches temperatures below freezing?" I guess you don't after all you are a drop out." Paul snaps his fingers and a bag is placed over Rhonny's head.
