I woke up to the sound of the annoying default alarm on my phone and the sound of people yelling and running around. I slowly sit up in bed while trying to rub the sleep out of my eyes, this is always how my mornings start. Especially since my niece and nephews moved in, it's like a zoo every morning with 6 people trying to get ready with only two bathrooms.

I get up out of bed and look in my full length mirror and I look like somebody that just woke up from a year long coma. I go and walk out into the hallway to see my two nephews wrestling in the hallway while my Dad is trying to break them up. I ignore their screams per usual, I walk  around them and go into the bathroom to see my niece Ava straightening her hair. She looks at me like she's just scene a ghost, i don't know whether to be offended or not.

"Why aren't you ready! We are leaving in an hour Nadine and we can't be late!" While she looks me up and down clearly judging of how bad I look in the morning.

"Oh calm down, I'll be ready the meet and greet doesn't until 3 and it's only 10 am now." I say while rolling my eyes and grabbing my toothbrush. I know i'm notorious for always being late for everything, it's honestly an art that I've mastered over the years.

She looks at me with an annoyed look on her face, "This is the one shot I have to make Louis fall in love with me." She says to me as shes brushing her hair for what it seemed like the 10000000th time. I look down at her, "Ava you do realize that you're 7 years old right? And plus Louis is 22 he would be a pedo if he even looked at you in that kind of way." I've now moved on to doing my makeup after washing my face and brushing out my tangled wavy hair.

She begins to rant to me about how age is but a number, blah blah blah. I honestly started to tune her out and hum a song just to annoy her even more. I only catch the last part of her rant, "You're just jealous because you're the jolly green giant and taller than almost all of the guys." I snap my head at her letting her know that she pushed my number one insecurity. I've always been insecure about my height it's hard to get a guy to like you when you're A either the same height as them or taller. Most of the time I tower over the guys I've liked so they don't even look my way.

I ignore her comment and continue getting ready, she is about to say something else when she's cut off by my phone ringing. I look on the screen and it says Sage is calling. Sage has been my best friend since I was 5, she's crazy as shit but that's what I love about her. As soon as I pick up the phone I jump because she starts screaming into the phone. "AHHHH OH MY GOD BITCH ARE YOU EXCITED BECAUSE I'M EXCITED LIKE IM FLIPPING THE FUCK OUT!" I pull the phone away from my ear because I think she just permanently damaged my hearing. "For fuck sake Sage don't damage my hearing before we even get there, I'm sure all the 12 year olds there will do that for me." I say laughing  back at her.

"Oh come on bitch let me be excited, I bet is Ava shitting her pants right now because i'm shitting my pants right now." She says probably without even taking a breath because I swear this girl snorts crack for breakfast. Sage has always been the type of girl who everybody loves, she has that type of personalty that just draws people in especially guys. I've always envied her for it, she's beautiful with her blonde green eyes, and also she's also the perfect height. I'm definitely the DUFF of my small friend group. I also think people are intimidated by me not just because of my amazon ass but I've been told my sarcasm is too much to handle sometimes.

"Hello earth to Nadine, did you choke on a dick and die?" I quickly snap out of my daily self loathing and pick up my phone and look in the mirror to finish the final touches on my half ass makeup. " Yeah sorry I was spacing out, I'm almost ready." I say while walking out of the bathroom and walk quickly back in my room to throw on jeans and a band- T because I know i'm running late again. I completely forget I'm on the phone until I hear Sage yelling at me again to hurry my ass up because she's here already. I hang up on her and throw my doc martens on, I quickly look in the mirror unimpressed with what I saw per usual. I grab my purse and start running down the hallway passing my Dad and my nephews sitting in the living room.

I reach the tops of my stairs looking down at a disappointed Ava shaking her head. Why does she always make me feel like a kid who disappointed their parents by dropping out of school and clapped their ass for a living. "What? You said be ready by 11 and its 10:59." She looks at me again coming down the stairs. "You're worse than a slug trying to run a marathon." She said while opening up the door and walking out.

"Jokes on you I don't run." I say as I close the door behind me. She stops and look back at me and looking me up and down. " Wow couldn't of fooled me." She rolls her eyes and continues walking to Sage's Range Rover, I jog catching up to her. " Ya know you're a really a bitch for being 7, can't wait until you hit puberty and start getting your period. You're gonna be a real treat to be around." I walk ahead of her so I don't have to here her snarky remark back to me. I open up the passenger door and get in, and I look over at Sage who's dressed in a off the shoulder white ribbed sweater tucked into some light wash jeans with a belt and black heeled boots. Looking beautiful as always, what's new. I look back at Ava who's sitting in the back she's wearing a cute yellow long sleeved flowery dress that compliments her perfectly tan skin. Damn even my 7 year old niece beats me in the looks department.

I look down at my outfit regretting it, but it's not like anybody will notice me anyways. I look back at my niece and smile at her, "You look really beautiful today Ava." She looks up and me and smiles and says thank you. We don't always hate each other, I'm the closest thing she has to a mother.

I look over at Sage who's just staring at me with a stupid excited smile, knowing she's ready to floor it to Gillette Stadium. Even though we live like 30 minutes away from it, her and Ava convinced me that they needed to get their early to get a good spot in line. Don't get me wrong I'm excited, I like some of their songs and think all of them are pretty cute. But I don't cream my pants by just looking at them like some of these girls do. "Alright bitches ready to lose our virginity today." Sage says as she starts to speed off down my street, Ava agrees with her per usual. Ava literally thinks Sage is the best thing since sliced bread, I found it cute at first until they both started to gang up on me constantly. I just look at her rolling my eyes knowing that today is gonna be a long ass day already.
