It was a quite ride to my place. I told him to wait in the car I would only be a min. As I un buckled my seatbelt. My neighbor pulled up. Aye wassup babymomma he said jokingly. Look Jamel I'm not really in the mood. I said as I was searching for my keys to get into our build door. Jamel then block the door so I couldn't get in. Come on Ari what's going on you didn't come back home last night then you come back at 3 pm with some random man your really out here man and I'm just try to save you before the streets get to you. Jamal you are not my father I shouted back him. Don't be worried about where the hell I am or who I am with. I've been taking care of myself since I was 14. I think I can handling myself now. Now please get the fuck out my way.  I said pushing him out my way. I ran up the stairs and into my apartment. Scrambling around in my boxes I found my box that I keep my extra cash I grab my blue Adidas jump suit. Threw that on, grab all the cash out the box and headed out the door. Hurry down stairs when I walked outside I notice Derek and Jamal talking when they notice me coming out side they shook up and Jamal told me he will see me later and I got in the car. At this point I really didn't want to be bother with anyone but Derek insists that we talk. So I asked him what did him and Jamal talk about. He said nothing much I just asked how y'all know each other and he said y'all was friends. Derek said he didn't care much for him calling me his baby momma. He said Jamal tried to question him about how they we knew each other and that he really just trying to look out for you cause us had it rough growing up.

Wassup Ari tell me about your childhood I'm just trying to get to know you so I can understand you more. I took a deep breath and told him when my died giving birth to me so it was just me my older sister and my father my older sister was 16 when I was born she wasn't my father real daughter but you would have never guessed because he treated her has his own. Once my sister turned 18 I was two going on three she moved out with her boyfriend and she went off to college me and her don't have the best relationship because of our age difference. After that it was just my father and I. My father works as a plastic surgeon and he works with some of the top celebrities. We did a lot of moving around till I was like 9 he hired some nanny to take care of me. My father got the nanny and me a house and I grew up in the fisher area. He said he wanted me to have a normal life. The only time I saw my father was maybe on my birthday some holidays he would fly me out to our vacation home in England. My Nanny is from Mexico and ended up getting deported back to her homeland I was 12 at the time when that happened. I tried contacting my father the states tried getting in contact with him I stayed in foster care for about a month because my father was spending some time in Cancun and nobody knew where he was he called all his surgery centers they were all closed until he got from vacation. Once he finally returned to the states I was so happy to see him because I thought he was coming back to get me he just made me someone else problem and sent me to my grandparent's house that I barely even knew. I kept questioning why can't go with him I do school online he kept saying he wanted me to have a normal childhood. My grandparents told me I should be grateful because my dad is a hard-working man and takes very good care of me. Even though I was a child who got whatever she wanted I never got the love I begged for. Once I turned 13 my grandpa turned very ill and shortly after passed and then after that my grandma couldn't take care of me either. I have this really close friend name summer we knew each other since pre-K Our mother was best friends before she passed. Once her family found out the news they took me in with open arms and treated me like I was their own I finally got the sister I never had and the mother I always needed. Summer's mom was a single mother but she was a good getter she had her own business and a real successful skincare line. After my dad knew I was living with my friend he kind of stopped talking and reaching out to me he claims that he knew I was safe and I was being taken care of. He still would send me money it was 10,000 every two weeks. Fast forward to my senior year of high school I was so excited to do the whole prom thing and walk across the stage to get my high school degree. My dad promised he would be there he said he wouldn't miss it for anything in the world. Come to graduation day my father did not return my calls or even text messages. I never felt so hurt lonely and forgotten. Luckily my best friend's mother was there to support me and make me feel loved. After that, I name wanted to talk or speak to my father again.  I never really was big into social media but I made a Facebook just so I stay in contact with all my friends from high school.  I got an idea last night and searched my father's name into the search bar "Nicholas Scott" and his page was right there in front of me once I started looking through his page I was sick at what I saw he was remarried and had a whole another family. He had two kids with this woman a boy and a girl and another girl who looked about my age she was my father's stepdaughter from the previous marriage his new wife had and she had another on the way. Once I did the math and when everything went down from their wedding to the birth of their firstborn child no wonder why he missed birthdays and went missing after my nanny's had to leave because he was in Cancun because he was getting married. He missed my graduation because he was at his stepdaughter's graduation.  I had a lot of questions going through my mind. Do they even know I exist? Why would my father do this to me? I just was so hurt and broken. I fell into depression started losing a lot of weight and started drinking and tried to commit suicide. Even when I was at my lowest and my dad knew I was in the hospital he didn't even come to see me. I haven't talked to my father and over 5 years and I don't care to talk to him either he never loved or cared about me. He tried to reach out to me numerous times on Facebook, email, text messages, and phone calls, I changed my number a total of 8 times and switched cell phone carriers nothing works he still finds a way to get in touch with me so I just ignore his calls. He contacts Summer's mom and she tells him he has to fix the relationship himself he even contacts Summer. Summer, she tries to get me to talk to him but I'm just not ready to be hurt again or hear his excuses. Summer and I got into an argument because I found out she was going behind my back and updating my father about my life to the point she was sending updated pictures of me. 

I didn't realize how much I was talking and we were now at the tow shop. To get my car.  My eyes were red and I was trying to hold back my tears because every time I tell people about my childhood it's like reliving it all over and it still hurts. Derek told me please don't cry. When I looked at Derek he actually had tears in his eyes. He told me how sorry he was that I had to go through something like that. He wanted to know that he has no plans of leaving me as my father did. Even though I only knew Derek for a day it feels like I've known him for a life time I can tell he was different. Just something about him makes me give this weird feeling inside. My only problem is I have a hard time trusting men due to my daddy issue and I never let anybody get to close to me and I always hurt them before they get a chance to hurt me.

 I got my stuff started to get out of the car he grabbed my hand. And looked me and the eyes and said Ari I want to be here to make your life easier If anybody went through what you did that would have gave up. Tears started falling from eyes as he wiped them from my face he told me you are to beautiful to cry. When got out he gave me a big hug . That was something that I much needed . He told me to come on let's get your car. When we walked in the lady at the desk whom assume to be Mary ask me for my first and last name and license and registration. I told her that was in my car in the glove department while I handed her my ID she said she would go out there and look. When I gave her back my paper work that she told me to fill out she told me she would be right back. A guy walked up to from the back who look super familiar. Once I put together who he was I turned away hoping he wouldn't notice me. "Dani ?" the guy from the back said   laughing.  I pretending as if I didn't know who he was talking to and immediately got on my phone and pretended to look at stuff on my phone. "Girl don't act like you don't know me " I was embarrassed because Dani is my stripper name  I didn't say anything just continued  looking at my phone pretending as if I couldn't hear him. You work tonight he continued to ask still laughing. I looked back a Derek I could tell he was getting angrier by the minute. The guy then walked up to me and pulled out a 100 dollar bills and said how about you give me a private dance in the back. Putting the 100 dollar bill in my bra. I took it out and threw it at him and told him he has the wrong person. Laughing he then said please I know that body and that pretty face and I those lips from anywhere grabbing my cheeks pulling me in as if he was going to kiss me. Derek quickly got up pint him against the wall and said she said you got the wrong person now leave her along

She told me the total is 2000 even. TWO THOUSAND I said you told me it was 1150 over the phone. Derek said I got it Ari pulled out his debt card and pay it for me the lady handed me my keys and we walked out. I told him thank you but you didn't have to do that. I can handle myself and I got into my car. Derek came to window and ask if I was going back his place told him I want to go home and get some rest because I work tonight. What about when you off he asked. I told him I'll think about it and I'll text when I get home. As I was driving down the street i got a incoming call from summer I answered it and put her on my car Bluetooth. A bitch get a new man and start forgetting about people Summer said. laughing it off I just told her that it has already been a long day. I told her everything that happened. Damn girl you got you a baller you better keep him Summer said. I know girl that's the plan. So you working tonight summer asked. Yes I have to be on stage at 1:30. I told her. Even though people talked about me being a stripper I actually loved it being able to get 4 stacks and one night is such an enjoyment. I work my other jobs just to seem normal. Well girl I'll be up there for some wings and a free lap dance Summer said . I told her ok and I text her when I'm up from my nap. We got off the phone I pull up in the parking lot at my apartment.  I'm glad I didn't see Jamal because I didn't need to hear his mouth. Plus I am exhausted. Once I got home i threw myself on the bed set my alarm and went straight to sleep.
