~Chapter 3~

~With Ash and the others~

It was quite a shock for Ash and the others that they learnt that Spark and Jessie already left without them!

Aaron said, putting his hands on his hips, "You got to be kidding. Spark and Jessie had a head -start without us? That's plain rude." 

Ash points out, "It's not our fault that we got poisoned . Besides, I haven't known Spark as much as Bonnie and Clement does. I just started to become a father, remember? It's all Giovanni's fault that I wasn't in Spark's life." 

Brandon said, "It's not like you had a choice, Ash. I mean, he literally threaten you , to almost put Serena in danger when she's pregnant with Spark. 

I am still amazed that Serena, the Kalos Princess, kept a hidden child from the Pokémon world for so long, and he turns out to be my best friend. 

I'm going after them." 

Ash was amazed at the young trainer, as he thought about how much it reminds him of how much Serena meant to him. 

"Let's all go. " The former Pokémon Master said, as the group leaves Cameran Palace before Lady Irene say anything. 

Clement said, "We don't know where Spark and Jessie went off to." 

Ash raises an eyebrow at his friend, "Uh, have anyone forgotten that I had Audrain Powers? I can simply use them to find them." 

"Oh, good point." Bonnie said, as Ash focused on his son's aura, as he felt that they just stopped at a river far from the palace. 

"They've stopped at a river. C'mon, we have to catch up to them as quickly as possible." Ash said, leading the group. 

~At Aether Paradise~  

Lusamine looks proudly at the hosts of the Ultra Beasts, Nihilego. Serena said, "What is your command, Madam Lusamine?"

"Ah, so formal, even being controlled by the Ultra Beast. Very interesting discovery. Very well. You're first order is to track down this boy and his partner, a Pichu and defeat him very badly. 

Don't make any easy on him." Lusamine ordered. 

Both of the girls seemed to be interested by their master's order. 

"It shall be done, Madam Lusamine." Persia said, smiling as both of the girls disappeared as Lusamine smiles of how interesting the events will be . 

"Spark Ketchum, how would go to risk to save the people that is closest to you?" Lusamine thought in her mind. 

~With Spark and Jessie~

Jessie took off her shoes and puts her feet into the water. 

Spark said, apologizing, "I'm so sorry, Jessie. I should've known that you'll get blisters. Are you going to be ok?"

The trainer smiled at her cousin, "Spark , relax. It's not going to be a big deal. I didn't wear proper shoes if we going on a longer trip than we planned. So, we're heading straight to your hometown, and see Professor Sycamore, correct?"

"I figured he can help , besides he did say that he wanted to meet me ever since he found out that I was related to Ash. 

I also needed to head home to gather all the supplies we need for the rescue mission for Mum and Persia." Spark said. 

The duo seems to be worried about them. 

"I hope that we find them." 

Suddenly, a Heat Wave came out as both trainers dodge it quickly as possible. 

"What was that?" Jessie ask, as Spark reached out his Pokeball, and said, "Charizard, com'on out!" 

The Pokémon came out soon as possible. Spark said, using his aura, "Charizard, be on your guard. Something's not right." 

 To their greatest surprise it was Serena and Persia! 

"Mom! Persia, what a relief!" Spark said. 

"Delphox use Psychic Terrain!" 

"Psychic Terrain?!? When did Delphox uses that move?" Jessie asks. 

Spark quickly jumps into Charizard's back and Spark said, "Quick, use Flamethrower now!" 

"Future Sight." 

Jessie said, "Spark, be careful!" 

"You should focus on battling me, Jessie. " Persia sneer. 

Jessie thought, "It is like their personalities have dramatically changed. What's going on?"

"Uesaring, use Laser Focus." Persia said, as the Pokémon hit Jessie hard as she was on the ground. 

"Jessie!" Spark said, afraid of his cousin's safety, but the Future Sight hit him and Charizard! 

Spark groans, from the attack. 

"It seems that our attack wasn't hard enough." Persia said, looking at Serena. 

"It seems so. Delphox, use Grass Knot." 

The attack causes Spark unable to breathe, as Grass Knot was choking him. 

Suddenly, a person yelled, "Espeon! Knock that Grass Knot with Psybeam!" 

The Pokémon did as instructed as Serena said, "What?!?"

"You have no desire to hurt others like that!" 

"Blastoise  , use Flash Cannon to escape!"

The smoke cleared as the group ran from Serena and Persia. 

The boy asks, "Are you guys all right? I'm glad that we make it in time. I'm Red. And this is my friend, Leaf. We're trainers from Pallet Town, and came to help." 

Spark seems to be an utter shock of all of it.
