"Hey Red we should go to the fair tomorrow!"
"Yeah sure" was all he texted back
You were exited to go. It's been a while since you've last seen him in person now and you've missed him. Everything in your relationship was going great with him and you were happy.
Anxious to see him you went to bed early just so you could spend the whole day with him and not get tired.
The sound of your alarm soon woke you up.
6:00 am it read
It was early but you wanted to get ready and look extra cute today just for him.
So you did the laundry so you would have many outfits to pick from.
You took a bath, brushed your hair and picked something cute.
You were going to meet each other at the fair so you waited for the bus to come pick you up.
Finally you arrived.
So you got off the bus and texted Red telling him you were there.
No reply.
Strange but you still went and bought a ticket to enter the fair.
You checked your phone again.
Still no reply.
You checked the time.
Maybe you were to early.
No.
5:30 it said
Huh strange maybe you should call him and make sure this was the time you guys had agreed on.
No answer.
Things were getting weird now until you finally received a text from Red
"I'll be there in 2 min !"
Happily you looked to your bright phone screen amongst the darkness of the night.
"Alright I'll be waiting for you!"
Putting your phone in your pocket you began to wait.

10 min
20min
Went by.
Soon your smile started to fade.
You decided to call Red to make sure he hadn't gotten lost amongst the big crowd of people surrounding the entrance
It's just rang
And rang
Till it went to voicemail.
Confused you dialed again, and again, and again.
Still no answer.
After 40 min you decided to leave.
Head down and ashamed you slowly made you way to the bus stop again
You turn around every once in a while.
Hoping he would pop out
Come and hug you and tell you how much he missed you.
But there you stood alone.
Tears running down your face.
He wasn't coming
Not now
Not ever.
Why?
You got onto the bus and headed home.
Hurt.
Betrayed.
Humiliated.
And lied to.
If he could make it he should have told you. You would have understood and rearranged the date.
Hearing a ring come from your phone you looked down.
It was from Red
"I'm here where are you"
It was to late.
You were almost home
After an 1 hour he texted you that he had arrived.
Did he really expect you to wait for him that long?
Feeling mad you quickly replied.
"I'm home."
He called you and called and called.
But you weren't interested in answering anymore.
He sent you text after text getting mad at you for leaving.
But it wasn't your fault.
O-Or was it ?
No, no it wasn't
You waited but he never came.
Just as you thought things were getting better in your relationship this happens.
Why Red?
This happened to me today and honestly it really sucks :(
