Annie yawned as she discreetly looked at her phone underneath the counter. The restaurant was oddly empty for a Friday night so she didn't have to worry much about customers. Her and her seven other roommates all worked at the restaurant but only her Lo and Maddie were working tonight.

The bell rang signaling the door was being opened and the employees automatically welcomed the customers.

The three girls looked up at the same time to see three fine ass men walk through their door. The boys approached the register in search of seating.

"Hi uhm table for three?" the smaller spanish looking boy asked the girl at the register.

Realizing that was her section Annie followed her coworker. "Hi I'm Annie I'll be your waitress today. Can I get any drinks started?"

"Yeah a y'all glass of you" the lanky dread head says. "Zion shut up" she noticed another small italian boy at the table. "I'm sorry about him but we'll just get three waters."

She walked back behind the counter. "Bitches" she said in a hushed tone. Lo and Maddie perked up and walked over to her. "There are these fine ass boys over there and I'm really thinking we could finesse a few numbers."

"Ooouuuu that italian is so fine" Maddie said peering over my shoulder. "The lightskin looks he could ruin my life. whew. And I know you like your latinos" said Lo looking at the girl with three waters in her hands.

She brought the waters over and set them down. The then decided on what they wanted and ordered.

"Mad. I need you and Lo to help me carry all the food out cause it's too heavy for me" Annie said putting air quotes around 'too heavy.' Maddie smiled and walked over to Lauryn to tell her.

Annie scanned her section noticing they were out of water at the table. She walked over and filled their glasses. "Excuse me." She turned around.

"That girl behind the counter, with the glasses, what's her name?" The italian asked looking at Annie. "And who's the other girl you seem to be talking to a lot" The lightskin asked.

"The one in the glasses is Maddie and the other girl is Lauryn or Lo. They're long time friends and we're roommates." Annie said looking at the two boys smiling knowing she was going to finesse for her girls. They nodded their heads and she walked away.

Getting back to the counter she grabbed a plate of food and her two friends trailed her with the other plates. They set them down and said "Enjoy."

"Just to let you whores know they were asking about y'all." She whispered to the two girls. "Well what were they saying shawty?" Maddie said to her. "They were just asking your names."

"I'm deadass bout to slide my number to him i don't care." Madasyn says. "brb"

The two slightly less bold girls watched as she went over and talked to the italian boy. After some time, and all the boys writing on a slip of something she returned. She presented the napkin like a damn trophy.

"So the italian's name is Nick, the tall one is Zion, and the dominican is Edwin. I also got all of their numbers for each of you."

"Gang Gang whole lotta gang shit." Annie said grabbing the paper and putting Edwin's contact in. Lauryn did the same but with Zion.

Realizing she had a job, she went over to the table making sure they were ok. Seeing as they were finished she grabbed their plates and went to ring them up.

She brought the check back and the paid. As she was putting the money in the register the boys were walking out.

"Text is shawties" Zion said looking at Lauryn. She giggled and nodded her head smiling. Annie and Maddie looked at each other and rolled our eyes.

Maddie stopped them and asked "Wait how was everything?" "The food was good but the service was where it was at" Nick said winking at Maddie. Now it was Maddie's turn to smile like a dumbass.

I rolled my eyes watching them leave. "Assholes didn't leave me a tip." She said frustrated. "They tipped you their numbers." Lauryn said to her. "Yeah but is that going to pay my bills" Annie said. "Well actually I got the-" Maddie cut herself off as Edwin strolled back into the restaurant.

"Annie" she turned around to look at him. He was bout fine as fuck okay. "Here's this" he said handing her a $50. "Text me I'm trying to take you out."

Her jaw dropped as soon as he had handed her the money. It took her a second to realize what he was saying. She snapped out of it and mustered a "Thank you so much." He smiled at her as he walked out of the restaurant.

"She turned around, smiling wide, and looked at her girls. She did the Bretman Rock tongue out gag thing. The girls laughed at her and made disgusted looks as she put the money in her purse.

The night went on and their shifts were finally over. They all clocked out and IMMEDIATELY started tapping on their phones. They got into the car and just sat there with the radio low.

The girls occasionally smiled or giggled at their phones. "Lauryn come the fuck on, I'm trying to go home." Maddie said from the back. Lo put down her phone as Annie connected it to the car. Before she could switch it she heard the first few beats to her song.

She turned it up hella loud and yelled "Lemme get y'all hip." "I been knew about this song." Maddie said.

"DON'T LOSE FOCUS, I DON'T WANT TO STAND ON YOUR BLIND SIDE." Maddie and Annie both yelled the lyrics to the song on their way home.

"ALL I THINK ABOUT IS YOUUUUU" Lauryn jumped in knowing only the chorus.

After the song she turned down the radio. "Pause. Why did those boys lowkey look familiar?" The two other girls hummed their I don't know in response. She continued to scroll through instagram.

She saw a new post from Prettymuch. Prettymuch was a little boy band that sand the song her and Maddie just screamed. She double tapped the photo, noticing it was just a photo of one of them in sunglasses. He lowkey looked greasy but.

The pulled into their driveway and got out opening their front door. Annie's phone went off and she looked down at it.
