Telling The Family.....and Jacob.

**PRESENT DAY**

After the doctor gave me my slip for my next appointment,I walked back out to the car to meet James,my driver.

"How'd it go" he asked

"I-Im pregnant" I stammered out

"When are you telling Mr. and Mrs.Parker and your sibilings" he asked me

"As soon as I get home,just to get it over with" I told him

"You can do this Abby,I'm sure you'll be a great mom" he assured me

"Thanks"I said

The rest of the ride was pretty quiet.Was I ready to be a mom yet.I'm only fifteen,I just started high school and here I am,knocked up.I know abortion is DEFINITELY NOT in the picture.I would feel so wrong about killing an innocent baby,and I don't think I could live with myself knowing someone else is raising my child. So I guess I'm keeping it. In just 8 short months,I'll be a 15 year old mom.

As we pulled into the driveway I felt a knot in my stomach.I became even more nervous when I got to the front door.

"Good luck"James called out before driving away

As I opened the door I could hear everybody in the den talking. As I was walking I was thinking about what to say.Should I just come out and say it,or throw hints?When I walked in the room,everybody's heads snapped up to me.

"Oh,hey honey"my mom said smiling

'Its now or never'i thought.Here goes nothing.....

"Mom,Dad,family......I'm pregnant"I blurted out.

Suddenly,the whole grew quiet and a fresh wave of tears spilled out of my eyes. Finally the silence was broken when my mom spoke.

"Are you sure honey" she asked walking up to me

"Yes,James took me to the doctor after school and they confirmed it"I said through tears

"Oh honey,don't cry,I promise we'll get through this as a family"she said pulling me into a warm hug

"We sure will honey,I'm actually excited too have a grandchild,not saying I'm proud of you being 15 and pregnant,I'm just a little disappointed but I'm still excited" my dad said

"OH MY GOD...IM GONNA BE AN AUNTIE"my 13 year old sister yelled excitedly

"And I'm gonna be an uncle"my 17 year old brother said

I couldn't help but smile at all the support I was getting from my family.

"Thanks for supporting me guys"I said when I was finished crying

"Always"my mom said hugging me again

Now all I had to do was tell Jacob.How will he take it?I hope he was as supporting as my parents,but I could only hope.

"Did you tell the father yet" my dad asked at dinner later that day

"No,Im gonna tell him tomorrow"I said

"Who is it if you don't mind me asking"my mom added

"Jacob Collins"I told them

My brother's forked dropped to his plate with a loud clink. His face went paler than ever.

"What's wrong Joshua" I asked him

"I HATE that kid"he yelled

"How do you hate him,your not even in the same grade.Your a junior,he's a freshman"I pointed out

"He may be a freshman but that doesn't stop him from sleeping with EVERYONE,even my ex girlfriend.You know the one I dated for 3 years.He somehow made her believe he was older and guess what.....he got her pregnant too.Made her get an abortion and she did.He didn't even want to take care of the baby"he explained with venom dripping from every word

"Well I'm not killing this baby,so that's not a problem.Nor am I giving it up so he better not even suggest that.If he doesn't wanna be in this baby's life then that's his choice"I said getting up from the table"May I be exscused"I asked

"Sure honey"my mom said

When I went up to my room I called Rebecca. I had told her I was pregnant after telling my family and she was super excited.Which I was happy about.

"Hello" she answered

"Did you know that Jacob got my brothers ex girlfriend pregnant and made her get an abortion" I yelled into the phone

"No way,ARE YOU SERIOUS"she yelled back

"I know right,my brother just told me at dinner.He hates the fact that he's the father" I explained

"Oh my God,Jacob is such an asshole" she said

"I know" I replied

After we talked for about another hour or so we got off the phone and I instantly fell of to sleep. Waiting to see what tomorrow would bring.

The next morning I woke up and covered my mouth and ran to the bathroom. After I threw up what was in my stomach,I leaned against the bathtub for a little while before getting up to brush my teeth.....twice.

When I got out the bathroom,I went to my room and threw on my black yoga pants,a bright pink crop top,and my black vans. I threw my hair up in a bun and put foundation on. I didn't really feel like dressing up today but only because it was a Tuesday.I hate Tuesdays.Tuesdays are just a reminder that the week still had 3 days left(stupid Tuesdays). Before I walked out my room,I grabbed my phone off the charger and got my purse(which was big enough to put my binder in so it was basically a backpack).When I walked downstairs my mom was in the living room drinking coffee and reading the newspaper.She was always up at around 6:30 doing the same thing everyday.

"Goodmorning sweetheart"she said smiling at me

"Goodmorning mom"I said returning the smile

"I had James by you a hot fudge frappe'.Its in the fridge"she said

"Thank mom"I replied while walking to the kitchen to get my frappe'

When I got my frappe',I walked outside to the car where James was waiting for me.

"Goodmorning Abby,how'd it go"he asked getting straight to the point

"It went great actually.Everybody's really excited,even though I'm only one month pregnant"I said

"That's good.I'm glad everybody was supportive.What about the father"he asked

"I'm telling him as soon as I get out the car.Rebecca knows though.She's also excited.I'm gonna ask her to be the godmother."I said smiling

"That's nice"he said pulling into a parking spot in front of the school doors."Have a nice day Abby"he yelled as I got out the car

As soon as he drove off,I went to find Jacob.I didn't have much finding to do because as soon as I turned around,I spotted him by a tree with his friends. I walked over to him a bit nervous. We haven't talked since the night he stole my innocence and that was a month ago. As I stopped in front of him he turned to look at me.

"Yes....."he asked rudely

"Can we talk,in private"I asked

"Whatever it is,you can tell me in front of my friends,now what do you want"he said

"I really think we should talk in private"I said

"Nope...Now talk"he said

"Okay then"I said as I climbed on top of a bench closest to us

"LISTEN UP"I yelled to everybody in front of school waiting for the doors to open

"I ABIGAIL PARKER......IS ONE MONTH PREGNANT WITH JACOB COLLINS BABY."I announced

Jacob's eyes grew wide and his mouth fell open.

"You said I can say it in front of your friends,so I did.You asshole"I said before walking away to meet a smiling Rebecca.

"You got some serious balls girl"she said when I finally caught up to her

"I insisted we talk in private but he wanted to be a cocky asshole and told me whatever I had to say I could say it in front of his friends,so I did"I explained

The rest of this pregnancy should be pretty interesting....
