Dani's POV

We've been here for about a week now and everything's going great so far, I'm working at a photography shop to get experience and earn some money before I try to launch my own business. As for the others, Christina's working on a case where a father wants to take his kid to the UK to live with him and his girlfriend, leaving his ex-wife, the child's mother here, Amy enrolled at the local college for nursing, Katherine and Lisa are super busy at the bakery ever since the paparazzis got a picture of Lauren eating there. Speaking of Lauren she hasn't really been outside of her room, you know what I'm gonna go check on her. I made my way to her room and knocked on her door.

"Come in!" She yelled and I walked in.

"Hey Laur, whatcha doing?" I asked her as she setting up some music stuff.

"Hey Dan, I'm setting up a little recording studio. I put a lot of thought into it and even though Olivia and Derek pushed me into music I'm not going to stop because I really do love music." She explained.

"That's awesome, and you're right if you love it you should do what makes you happy. Here let me help you." I told her and grabbed two of her guitars and hung them on the wall. 

"Thanks so much Dani, I really appreciate you saying that." Lauren said and we finished setting everything up.

"Ok now that we finished setting up, I wanna hear you play something." I said excitedly, I've been waiting forever and I just really want to hear her music.

"Haha ok Dan, I'll play you an acoustic version of one of my songs I'm working on, it's called flames." She said as she set up her keyboard.

"OMG! That was soo good Lauren!" I applauded but like that was actually amazing.

"Thanks the academy really helped me work on my pitch, I remember when we used to sing together, when I was like 10 and you were 8, I couldn't sing to save my life." She laughed.

"Yeah you've really grown since then, what was that song about?" I wondered.

"Oh so basically this was after that boy and I 'broke up' and I found out he had a girlfriend the whole time, and I should've been mad but I was still hopelessly in love with him." She explained

"Aww I'm sorry Laur, you know what we should do?" I asked her.

"What?" She replied.

"Let's go out and have some fun." I said with a smile.

"I'm in." She said back.

"Ok go get ready, I'll meet you downstairs in 20 minutes K?" I told her, and she nodded. I left her room and ran to mine. I changed into something comfortable other than my pajama's, and planned what we were going to do, oh it was going to be a fun day.

*Hey y'all sorry for the short update but I'll be on vacation for about a week so I probably won't be updating soon.*
