4. Nightmares

Hey I'm back again with the next chapter this is going be to be a bit sad chapter and there are warnings of bad thoughts from main character. Please give it a try. As always Italic for the characters thoughts and Bold for the conversations between the characters.

3rd Pov

The boys were all in their specific rooms. Jin picked Tae up and bought him in their room as he was asleep in his arms. While walking to the room, he now knew that Tae must have skipped many meals as he weighed like feather. He promised to himself to make sure he eats on time and never skips anymore meals again.
He tucked Tae in bed and went to toilet to do his own night routine.

Jin Pov

I was in the toilet when I heard shuffling from our room as we had an attached bathroom. I shrugged it off thinking it's just Tae getting comfortable in his bed as I tucked him in. After finishing doing my business in toilet I came out and what I saw broke my heart in two.
Tae was sitting in the closet with the door half closed but I could see him trembling, from which I assume he is scared and crying. I slowly stepped closer and made sure that he could not hear me as neither he will get more scared. When i saw the look in his eyes staring at nothing it felt like he was in his own world and terrified to face anything that was coming near him. The look in his eyes showed the Tae we all saw earlier is broken and not ready to face anything bad as he will collapse and give up in everything.

I put my hand on his trembling leg and he flinched. He reatred his leg away from me, which broke my heart further.
He is scared of me right now and I don't even know why.
"Tae, it's me Jin hyung. What's wrong? Why are you on the floor I put you in bed earlier."
After hearing my voice he looked at me as if he saw a ghost. He was still trembling when he said.
"I-I'm sorry, I-I won't t-talk please don't hit me. I-I'm sorry I k-know I'm usel-less..."
His words hit me hard as to why and how could someone hit this incredible angel and who was it. He stopped stuttering around me but with him being scared he is doing it again. I could sense he still does not believe that it's me.
"Baby it's me Jin hyung... I won't hit you Tae."
"J-Jin hyung i-is that really you?"
"Yes baby it's me look at me... I promise nobody it's going to hurt you sweetie."
"H-hyung he came a-and tried to hit me. H-he was here before you came. I'm s-scared hyung. Please do s-something."
Who the hell is this he? Why would someone hurt this precious and innocent bean. Ahh... I have to have a talk with Namjoon about this. My baby looks more than broken like this.
"Baby it's just me and you in this room. I promise nobody it's going to come, I locked the door. Come out to hyung please."

As if he got calmer after hearing me say i locked the door. He started to get out and came closer to me. He moved too slowly as if to make sure his eyes are not playing games on him and its really me. He slowly got out and touched my face with his trembling hands to make sure I won't disappear. After making sure it's me and I won't go anywhere he hugged me tightly and close as if someone would take him away from me. I feel so bad seeing Tae like this.
I'm sorry sweetie we weren't there when someone hurt you, not even Namjoon. I promise I will always be here now. I won't let anyone near you.
"Hyung h-he's not here right?"
"Yes Tae it's just you and me. You are safe with hyung. He is not going to be near you again. Now let's get you to bed."
"H-hyung I'm scared to sleep... I-I have b-bad dreams and they are s-scary..."
"Don't worry hyung is here now. Nothing will happen."
I put him in bed again and tried to get up to get on mine, when he held my arm and said.
"Hyung can you please sleep with me. I'm still s-scared. I have these bad dreams whenever I sleep. P-please hyung I was ok when I fell asleep with y-you near me in kitchen."
"Ok baby. I'm here I'll sleep with you don't worry. Not try to fall asleep we have practice tomorrow. I don't want you tired on your first day sweetie."
"Good night hyung. T-thank you."
I was in bed closing my eyes as I was also tired. When i felt pair of arms hugging me. Tae hugged me tightly and then slowly started to drift into sleep.
"Good night Tae."
I'll have a talk tomorrow morning when I wake up with Namjoon. This is serious. He feels safe when I'm near him so I'll have to always be here every night until his nightmares stop. My poor baby... I don't know how he got through this alone.
Don't worry anymore Tae, now you have your big brother and BTS with you to keep you safe.
