Chapter 2

Lucy's POV

Eight hours into the flight I lightly gasp awake from my dream and look around the plane to check on everyone. Once I have made sure everyone was okay and still asleep, I started to think about my dream. Could this be connected to what's going on in my hometown? I hope mom and Ari are okay. I wonder what I am going to find when I get there. Whatever it is I hope it isn't to bad. I shouldn't stress too much about this right now so onto more relevant matters. I already bought a house so when we arrive we can get settled in. I already sent everyone's things over so the movers should have already set up everyone's furniture. So the only thing I have to do is buy groceries. After i figured everything out I settled back down into me seat so i could get more rest.

~8 hours later~

I woke up a couple minutes before we landed and started to wake up the others so we were ready to get off the plane. Once everyone was awake the plane had landed and we were getting ready to get off. After getting off the plane we got in the car to go to our new home.

~One 30 minute car ride later~

When we finally arrived everyone went inside to go find their room and started to unpack and get settled. After I finished unpacking I grabbed my purse and got ready to go to the store. Before I left I yelled up stairs to tell them I was leaving. Hey guys I'm going to the grocery store. After I said this I heard two sets of feet running towards me and saw Elijah and Arabelle coming down the stairs. Can we go with you pwease? Arabelle asked me in her sweet little voice. Of course you can but you have to get your shoes on first. After I said this they ran to get their shoes on and we were off to the store.

~Earlier that day in another location~

3rd POV

Queen Canaby was standing on the balcony of her castle. Hm, Now the entire world will soon be brimming with demoralizing Hopeless energy. She says with a voice filled with malice as an unknown boy is running from the soldiers who are chasing him.

~At the house of Ari Jin~

Ari's POV

What should I wear? I can't make up my mind! I exclaimed in a panicked tone. I'm starting 5th grade today so I need something more mature and pretty. I giggle as i find the perfect outfit and said, Ari Jin's 'back-to-school' look is complete! I'm so excited today i'm starting 5th grade and my big sister Lucy is coming back home! As I was thinking my mom came in and said, Ari you better hurry or you'll be late for your first day of school and don't forget Lucy is coming back today. Oh no I screamed in panic when i realized she was right. I ran out the door while yelling, I'll see you later mom. And she responded back with, Have a good day. I ran down the sidewalk saying good morning sir when i passed the janitor. As i ran past him he said, slow down! You might trip. I giggled as I ran down the sidewalk slightly stopping to check my hair in the reflection of a car window and then continuing after saying perfect to how I look. As I continued running I thought out loud. I wonder if Suha and Min are already there... After i said that my phone started ringing and Suha texted me.

(Text conversation)

Suha - Ari where are you?

Suha - Min and I are in the same class this year.

Min - Are you going to be late on your first day?!

Me - I'm running as fast as I can, okay?

After I sent that I accidently ran into someone and lightly screamed saying, Ow, ow, ow. Oh? When i looked up i was immediately star struck with him. I thought to myself, So handsome! I didn't know there was someone this good looking in our school! He's like a popstar! I was taken from my thoughts when he spoke to me. Hello there. After he spoke i asked him, Are you talking to me? In my head i was wondering why my heart was beating so hard? Could this be...love? He then bent over to pick up my phone and said, Are you hurt? You should be careful and look where you're going. After he said this i started shaking in embarrassment and nervousness and stuttered, I'm...I'm so sorry... I... I have to go! I hear him quietly as i ran towards the school building. In the hallway i started thinking I can't believe I ran into such a good-looking upperclassman on my first day of school! It was totally magical. As i was thinking this Suha said, Ari, what took you so long? We were really worried. And then Min asked me, Did something happen? What's with the goofy grin? I giggled and then said, I'm just super happy we are all in the same class, that's all! As i pulled them both into a hug Suha said, I'm happy too. And Min said, You two are cornballs. Anyway who do you think our class teacher will be? I back out of our group hug and said with my hands folded, I just hope its not someone scary. Then the door opened and a shy looking woman with light brown hair and glasses walked into the classroom. Everyone stops talking as the woman shuts the door and walks to the desk but before she got there she suddenly slipped. She then looked up at us, her face bright red from embarrassment and stammered, S-students please take your seats now. A couple minutes later she then introduced herself as she wrote her name on the board, It's nice to meet everyone. My name is "Ms. Yeorin Ahn". She then shyly looked back at us and said, I'll be your teacher for this school year. I hope we can get along. As she said this, one of the boys in my class chuckled quietly.
