It was currently 7:56 am in Virginia. Spencer was at the doctors office, anxiously waiting for his test results. A while back he had mild migraines but couldn't explain where they came from. In his line of work, he could only sleep so much. This wasn't related to his sleeping or his bad diet or all the stress at work. He was worried that he could suffer from schizophrenia or dementia, since his mother had both. A while back he figured out that he did carry the schizophrenia gene within his DNA. Moments like this scared him. What if this was it? Not being able to work anymore or have any remote idea of what's happening? After over-thinking his situation, he decided to get tested, preparing for the worst. He waited for hours before the doctor came around.

"Mr. Reid?" She said. Something wasn't right, her voice was off. That worried Spencer even more, knowing that even the slightest changes can mean anything. That was the bad part of being a profiler, you always over-think.

"Yes, that's me" At this point Spencer was expecting the worse.

"It seems like nothing is wrong with your CT scans. You're free to go."

"Wait, really? Are you sure I don't have schizophrenia or dementia or even a cold?" Spencer couldn't believe what the doctor was saying. Was he really okay and his mind was playing games or did she miss something?

"I'm very sure Mr. Reid. You can go on and live the rest of your life without worries. If you do have any questions at all here's my card."

    Dr. Maeve Donovan (Geneticist)
            PHONE #: 702-334-3689

Spencer didn't buy anything she was saying. She looked distracted and uninterested in what they were talking about. One thing he did notice was a big bruise on her left arm. Judging on the color, it was fresh maybe it happened yesterday or the day before. He wondered what caused such a big bruise, especially if doctors live the "healthiest lives". She tried to cover it with long sleeves but she failed miserably. She looked like a nice person at least here, but Spencer never trusts someone new into his life. Spencer must of been staring because she quickly left after she gave him the card. When he was leaving the doctors office, he couldn't seem to remember what she looked like. He decided to call the number.

"Hey, this is Spencer Reid. The guy that just left the office. Well yeah so um- if you're free, do you want to um, you know like get coffee?"

She responded, "Uh- yeah yeah sure. There's a great place by K Street, see you there Friday at 9?"

"Yeah yes yes. Perfect see you then. Bye."

      "Bye."
