There you stood looking like you just ran a marathon.

The smile on my lips slowly coming back as the colours on your face returned.
I stepped back on the ground and walked slowly towards you as if I was scared that if I went to fast you would disappear.
"Where were you? Why did you leave for so long?-"
Questions I was dying to ask were flowing through my head. My blood boiling of anger that you left but my heart beating so fast out of my chest at the thought that you came back.
"I'll explain everything, please just don't do it Minnie" you ran towards me and hugged me so tight like you were afraid if you let go this time you'd truly lose me.
"Please don't leave me. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry,"
You took my head in your hands and looked at me with your bloodshot eyes from crying and I knew you meant it.
"i love you"
The words that came out of your mouth, the words that you said before you left. The words I now know you truly meant.
