Part 6

 ‘Jungkook, what are you doing-,’ Taehyung said this in confusion but he stopped short when he spotted Nana in her bath robe and Jungkook coming out from her room with just a swimwear. He pointed at Jungkook, and then to Nana, and then to Jungkook again. Like an alarm just rang in his head, Taehyung placed a hand over his mouth and muttered an ‘oh.’

This was not looking good.

Time fell into a stand still. Jungkook looked vigilantly at his hyungs. He was cooking up something to say. Nana wanted to intercept and explain the situation but before she could utter a word, Suga came in front of Taehyung and Jimin. He took off his jacket and threw it at Jungkook.

‘Before anyone sees you put this on,’ he said.

Jungkook looked taken aback by his response. He bit his lips and proceeded to put on the jacket without saying a word.  

‘Hyung… you knew about this?’ Jimin asked in a surprised manner.

Suga looked at his young brothers and said, ‘let’s not get ahead of yourselves kids. He’s just visiting. You guys go find the other staff and the hyungs to let them know we found Jungkook.’

Taehyung frowned. Jungkook knew that Taehyung may not be as perceptive as Suga and may seem like he is a blank canvas ninety nine percent of the time, but he is an unexpected kind. He did have that golden ration of stupidity and genius in him. He paused for a few seconds and took Jimin by the arm. ‘Let’s go.’

Nana felt their stare as Taehyung and Jimin walked past them.

‘Jungkook, go to your room,’ Suga said, ‘I’ll take care of the kids.’

Nana felt a sense of relief and surprise at how Suga was handling this. He was younger than her by a few years. It made her feel irresponsible. Jungkook looked back at Nana with a worried expression and left without saying a word.

‘Suga-shi…’ Nana started.

‘I am not going to ask. But I don’t have appreciation for women who uses kids like Jungkook for no better than your needy lust.’

Nana felt flustered. ‘Suga-shi… that’s uncalled for… Nothing happened.’ She stopped short at the last sentence, fully aware that it was not true.

He let out a huff, ‘do you expect me to believe that? You are all the same.’

Nana made a frown. What is he talking about?

‘This is probably a good time for you to cut ties with him before it’s too late,’ Suga said and he turned around and took off, leaving Nana standing there, confused.

Jungkook walked into his room and punched the nearest wall in disappointment. He was sharing a room with Jimin and Taehyung so they would have questions for him when they get back. Of all times, they had to witness him exiting Nana’s room.

Jungkook couldn’t shove off the feeling of anxiousness for Nana. It was not just lust that made him start the fire. He wanted her in more ways than one.

Jungkook recalled when he first met her at the studio. The moment he caught glimpse of Nana the world stopped turning. She was unconventionally beautiful and he could not take his sight off her. It was probably the way she looked when she was serious with her work. He found her passion in photography remarkably captivating. It could also be how he witnessed the staff talking behind her back, silently wondering why they did so. Curiosity played a major part. The more he observed her, the more fascinated he was with her. He could care less how old she was. All he knew was that he wanted her for himself.
