"How is one supposed to feel when they wake up in a hospital with no memories?"

__________

White.

The ivory color is quite blinding and often associated with many things: Heavenly light from above, a character or person glowing with the radiance of beauty or god-like ability, puffy clouds lazily drifting across the sky, or even eyes; the color often being associated with the sclera.

But it was also associated with hospitals.

So when (Y/n) (l/n) awoke to see a blinding amount of white, she understood where she was.

But she didn't know why.

~

"Go to UA (Y/n). It is now your goal to go there and become a hero because that is now your responsibility. If you wish to play your role, then you are required do as I say. And if you don't, then there will be more than disappointment awaiting you once you return."

When (Y/n) awoke to hear that message repeating itself in her mind, she panicked. She sat upright in bed and punched the first thing she detected: Her heart monitor.

She watched as it was abruptly flung away and crashed into the wall, making a loud and never-ending beep as it's pads were ripped off of her chest, causing her to gasp at both the pain and the sudden loud sound. She covered her ears with her palms and squeezed her (e/c) eyes shut, the nurses rushing into the room going unnoticed as she tried to collect her thoughts.

The young (h/c) felt a hand on her shoulder but assumed it was a nurse. She carefully opened one eye to peek at them, only to notice the absence of uniform.

Or, hospital uniform at least.

Instead, the adolescent male wore his school uniform. Well, that's what she thought it was. It consisted of a grey over-jacket accented with Sacramento-green stripes, resting over a white button-up shirt and a red tie, as well as matching Sacramento-green dress pants and modest sneakers.

She glanced up at their face to see some blonde boy, with blue eyes that seemed to bear into her soul with intense curiosity. She blinked in confusion in return, and watch as he smirked at her reaction.

'Okay... So I have a schoolboy stranger at my bedside who finds me amusing', she noted.

It took her a moment to realize that the piercing sound of the heart monitor disappeared. She finally uncovered her ears, just in time to hear the blonde boy whisper, "You're lucky you have been graced with me finding you."

...

'Okay. If that doesn't sound stalker-ish, I don't know what does.', she concluded.

Her attention was soon directed elsewhere as a nurse made her way to her bedside, asking the teen how she was feeling.

After answering, a doctor made her way into her room, ebony hair tied into a loose bun with vermilion glasses framing her features. She began asking standard medical questions as well as a few extras, such as "Do you remember your name?" or "Do you know what year it is?".

But all (Y/n) (l/n) could focus on was the fact that she had no memory of anything...

Anything other than her task to get into UA.
