Fire Of Despair (Reader x Zuko & Rascal)

1. A Fairytale

(Y/N) is a member of the Gaang and she secretly has a crush on Zuko. Recently Mai broke up with him (This is no hate on Maiko, the point of the story is just that you end up with Zuko). This means that she gets a chance to end up with Zuko.
(Y/N) swims in a lake. Katara is waterbending, Aang is just being goofy, Sokka is practicing with his boomerang, Suki with her fighting skills, Toph is sandbending and Zuko is being really moody all the time - as usual.
(Y/N) looks at Katara waterbending. She wishes that she could bend too - but no, she is like Sokka and Suki a non-bender.
They are traveling around the world again, after defeating Ozai they deserve that. And they can cheer the moody fire lord up.
(Y/N) looks at Zuko. He has crossed his arms and stares down with an angry face. She decides to take some action. If she wants to end up with him, she has to put effort in it. And so she walks up to him and kneels down next to him.
'Zuko,' she says, 'please come have fun with us.'
'I don't want to have fun.' Zuko looks away.
(Y/N) shakes her head and sighs deeply. 'Please Zuko...'
'I said no.'
'You can't be like this forever,' (Y/N) says. 'Some fun will do you good.'
Katara walks up to them and scoffs. 'He hates fun.'
'Not now Katara,' (Y/N) says. 'We must have fun with him, not making fun of him.'
'I'm just saying,' Katara says. 'He won't listen to you.' She walks away.
(Y/N) sighs deeply. Zuko is clearly not in a good mood. She stands up. 'If you want to do something, you know where to find me.' She walks away. She goes back into the water and floats on her back. She closes her eyes and feels the warmth of the sun on her skin.
'Shall we go to a village for some supplies?' Sokka then asks.
Everyone nods and prepares to go. They all jump on Appa's back and fly towards the village. There they decide to buy some food. But suddenly something strange happens. The sky turns dark purple and all people fall on the ground, except (Y/N), Aang, Katara, Sokka, Suki, Toph and Zuko.
A strange fog surrounds people. Then they suddenly start to talk sad and depressed.
'My dreams will never come true...' a little girl whimpers.
'My cabbages will keep getting destroyed over and over...' Cabbage Man sobs.
'What's happening?' Toph asks.
'People seem to have lost all their dreams and hopes!' Katara says shocked.
'Look there!' Suki says and points at something in the sky.
They all look.
'Is that... a floating joker?' Zuko asks.
The tall, slim figure in the sky has multicolored hair. He has yellow, red and blue hair and a ball at the ends. He has long, purple bangs. He wears a mask that covers half of his face. He has pointy ears and wears earrings. He wears a white bodysuit with a dark purple poncho. Around his neck and shoulders are a red-pinkish belt. He has long sleeves and at the end it has red-pinkish like bracelets. He has long, black fingernails. Around his waist is a golden belt. He has a red-pinkish ring around his thighs and purple pants. At the wide endings are white rings and he wears black, curly boots with heels.
'Impossible,' Sokka says. 'This is not real. We are all just tired and scared after the battle against the fire nation and now we are seeing things.'
'Oh really?' Katara says. 'Then explain why we all see the same thing and why people suddenly lost their hopes, oh smart science guy?'
'Guys, no time for this,' (Y/N) says and comes inbetween them. 'This jester could be a serious threat! I mean, he is not exactly looking friendly!'
The joker holds a book and all the negative energy goes in there. The joker first has a very, serious look on his face, but then a big grin forms on his face.
'Maybe it's a spirit,' Aang says. 'Let me talk to him.' He get's his glider and flies towards the jester. 'Hello. Can you tell me your name?'
The joker looks at him with a confused face. The black eyes of his mask get bigger. It's like a void. 'Who are you?'
'I am Aang and I am the Avatar,' Aang says and lands on a house.
'What is that, an Avatar?'
'I am supposed to save the world from evil,' Aang replies.
'Ah I see...' The joker narrows his eyes. 'Just like the Glitter Force, huh? Too bad that I came along and gave this world an unhappy ending!' He chuckles.
'Aang!' Katara yells. 'Go away, that jester may harm you!'
'Don't worry Katara. I'm sure th-'
Without Aang noticing, the jester has gone in front of him and kicks him. Aang falls backwards, off the house and on the ground.
'Aang!' Katara yells. Then everything goes very fast.
Katara and Zuko are the first one's to attack the joker.
