Finally. The horrible class is over. I didn't listen to any of it. I don't even know what homework we have. I'm on the favourite part of my day, the quiet bus. Isabella listens to her iPod, and I sit, trying to keep up with my classes.
"Izzy," I say.
"Hmm?" She answers with.
"What's our homework for English?"
"You mean you didn't listen?!"
"Yeah.
"You're NEVER going to pass grade 7!"
"I know. Can you just tell me?"
"Fine. Page 24 to 41. It's due on Wednesday."
"Thank you."
It's finally my stop. I walk down with Izzy, and she goes the way towards her mansion, while I go my way.
"Bye." She says.
"Bye," I reply.
I quickly open the door and then lock it behind me.
"Hey, sweetie!" Grandma yells.
"Hey, Granny," I call back.
I quickly drop my bag down, give grandpa a kiss, and I run to the kitchen, give granny a hug, and find my way to the delicious almond cookies she's making. While I'm munching on them, I say:
"Gran is mum and dad home?"
"No honey" She whispers back.
I sigh and run upstairs to my room, lock the door, and get my English book I accidentally forgot at home. Let's just say Mr. Duster wasn't glad. I flip to page 24 and start writing my own haiku.
'I am so confused. Do mom and dad love me now? I do not think so.'
I try to fight back tears, but my emotions get the best of me. I snap the lead in half and I fall asleep. Goodnight.
