Ok so I am honestly in love with this ship. It is like my favorite of all time. Here is why I ship Harmione.

Harry and Hermione share a beautiful connection with each other. They think highly of each other. The protect each other. They believe in each other. He asked her to Slughorn's party. She keeps his feet grounded. They get jealous. Everyone suspected something. They need each other. They resemble his parents. She knew more about him than he did. She keeps him out of trouble, but would break rules for him if she needed to. He's the first one to notice she's gone. They worry for each other. She chose Harry over Ron. She lied for him. They don't need words. She's the last to hug him. She would sacrifice everything for him. Including her life. They've been through so much together. And managed to stay together throughout it all.
She shares something very intense with Harry...it could have gone that way.
