The small and fragile skeleton looked around for his brother,his opposite twin brother regardless the fact that every one loved his brother more then him and how everyone treat him bad and treat his brother kind He still care for him.

Dream was the twin name and the small fragile skeleton was named Nightmare While dream loves everything and everyone and running around having fun.

Nightmare prefers reading and being calm. Everyone loves Dream yet everyone hate nightmare because of his name and for being the guardian of darkness but little did  they know that they will create the very monster they treated him like.

Now to begin the story

Nightmare was reading a book like usually and his brother was playing with the other monsters. Nightmare Who was half way in his book got pulled aside.

Nightmare was not so surprised by this he was quite use to it
"Hey you monster! Ready for our fun time!" Smiled cruelly the fox monster as he crack his knuckles.

"No I don't want to have our 'fun time' so please just leave"said nightmare with a serious tone but like always the monster laughed along with his Friends.

They looked at each other and nodded as they began their beating up sessions, Nightmare Who will not fight back just toke it all in. There is no need to fight back and look like the monster they treat him like.

After a few minutes or so The monster groups left laughing while Nightmare was barely sitting up and touched his new bruises he let out a soft sigh and started to tend to his new wounds.

He looked to the Tree which he and his brother guards and let out a small sigh "why am I treated like a monster. I've done nothing wrong. I haven't even hurt anyone...Why does everyone love my brother but hate me.." said the sad bruised skeleton

"Do you also love dream more then me mother..." said nightmare he stared at the apples he protect against his brother apple

Dream apples were gold and shiny they seem so magical and nightmare apples were black and blank they seem evil Nightmare simply said " I guess his apple are better"

Nightmare simply waited for his brother to return and brag on how great his day was but nightmare still smiled for his brother but deep inside he breaks everyday

Nightmare thinks dream fall for it but sometimes dream can see through nightmare smile but doesn't say anything very well knowing nightmare will just say "I'm fine don't worry about me"

Which hurt dreams hearts because his very brother won't trust him with his problem dream just want to help

●..mean while in another timeline..●

The sinister evil tar monster smiled as his brother was under his foot badly injured after their long CRUEL battle "You always failed to save anyone...you failed to save me dream it time to show everyone who is more powerful" said nightmare

But this isn't the nightmare who was peaceful and non volient and who cared for his brother. No this Nightmare was cruel,evil,and powerful. You could say He was a monster

The old guardian of darkness is gone and now is the king of darkness he doesn't take command from anyone he make other knee to him. All who oppose him...crumble and fail or surrender to his will

"Please brother! Don't do this! We can talk this out!" Yelled dream as he was begging for mercy before nightmare could even stab dream. Ink blasted nightmare

Even though this doesn't affect the Skeleton he turned around in angry since this disturbed his victory as nightmare turned away dream toke this advange and pushed nightmare to the floor

Nightmare Who was clearly pissed off stand up go fight but ink and dream flees from the battle Nightmare was gonna go after them but felt someone's negativity

He smiled to this and teleported to the AU He was shocked to the fact that the AU was dreamtale he knew that he destroyed it he saw it with his very eyes

Soon he remembered about timelines He mentally did a faceplam he searched around in this timeline of his AU He then heard laughter as he hid in the shadow

He saw some monster beating up someone Nightmare knew who exactly it was "it so pathetic that I didn't even fight back" mentally said nightmare

After the group of monsters left he saw himself getting up and aiding himself as he went to the tree Nightmare shaked his head in disappointment

He watched from a distance and collected his own energy Nightmare had token enough of the energy but he was still interested in this other version of him

He lurked in the shadow as he watched himself cry softly "so PATHETIC" mentally said nightmare but nightmare still enjoyed every bit of his own negativity

Soon after a few moments dream arrived beside passive nightmare And Nightmare just growled at this "my pathetic brother never FUCKING helped me.." growled Nightmare

Dream and Passive nightmare heard this.Dream went to check Nightmare growled at his own stupidity for saying it out loud. Dream gasped as he saw nightmare.

Dream screamed in fear and Passive nightmare ran over and stumbled in his foot steps and fell back "W-what are you" said passive nightmare

Nightmare growled "tsh pathetic I'm scared of myself" Mentally said nightmare Dream quickly grabbed passive nightmare And ran Passives nightmare just kept staring at Nightmare

"Who is that...and why is IT here.." thought Passive nightmare "Dream we must protect the tree" said Passive nightmare "of course" agreed dream as they both went to the tree

Nightmare was already pissed off at this not cause of the tree but for his(passive) own stupidity and fear Nightmare summoned his tentacles

He walked towards the tree As he heard the villagers scream in fear and terror He smiled at their fear as he toke in everyone negative energy

Dream and Passive nightmare were both ready to stop nightmare but nightmare stopped at a specific area He wasn't their to harm the tree well not right now

He was here to cause someone pain... to make one of them suffer to take his revenge on someone who hasn't suffer
To make  DREAM  S U F F E R

Nightmare wrapped his tentacles around Passive nightmare as Passive nightmare was shocked and slightly scared as he started to bang on his tentacles

Nightmare was annoyed of passive nightmare actions and knock him out "Bye dream I'll be taking your brother" said nightmare as he Teleported away with passive nightmare

Dream was now scared for his brother He was shaking He was starting to suffer His only brother was kidnapped right in front of him

The villagers may be Happy but dream isn't
And that exactly what Nightmare wanted

Nightmare Who was at his castle put his passive form in the cells ( dungeon or whatever)
Nightmare are smirked as he knew it was going to go in plan

But what he is unaware of is That even his own brother will soon find out of his plans
