"How are you doing?" Jisung smiled into his phone, it was Christmas day and he was staring into the fire in the living room, a hot chocolate in hand. This was the first time he was really talking with Minho since the time at the school roof.
The house was empty, as his mum and dad was picking up his grandparents in London, (Which usually took about 3 - 4 hours.) And Chan and Yebin was out buying last minute gifts.

"Better now that you're talking with me." Minho chuckled.
"Don't be cheesy."
"What are you gonna do about it? Fight me?"
Jisung laughed.
"How's your family?" Jisung could hear Minho's smile.
"Everyone is doing great, Mum and dad are really just focusing on Yebin and Chan like usual. It's fine tho, I'ts kinda reassuring seeing that everything is just like usual." Jisung's mood dropped.
"That's fucking stupid, i wish i could be there with you. Give you all the attention you deserve." Minho huffed.
"What about you? I guess I've never really met your family." Jisung sighed, taking a sip of his hot chocolate.
"They're, well, special. Really posh and proper to say at least." Minho suddenly sounded annoyed, and Jisung clearly understood that he really didn't wanna talk about his own family.
"Sounds.. annoying as fuck." The line went silent for a moment.

"What are you doing for new years?" Jisung changed the topic.
"Oh, eh, every year my extended family celebrates Christmas and new years together. We all go to this, eh, party i guess in London. So like, I'll be there the entire holiday." Minho said.
"Must be nice, Yebin is throwing her annual stupid new years party, and this year she's forcing me to help her out."
"What about today and tomorrow? Just family?" Minho asked, he was back to his normal happy tone.
"Yeah, my grandparents are coming later, I'm currently on turkey watch." Jisung laughed, making Minho laugh.
"I need to go, Love you." Minho smiled.
"Love you too babe." Jisung responded, before hanging up.
