Doppio x Reader: My College Friend

You sat beside Doppio, talking about how beautiful Venice was. He was clearly interested in it and you were interested in Sardinia. "Tsk, it's 12:08, you should probably head to bed." He sighed and looked at you, "Just me? You need sleep too dummy." He chuckled a little, "Maybe I do, just a little though." You rolled your eyes but smiled still. You had only met Doppio this morning when you both startled each other but you were best friends with each other. He patted your head and stood back up off your bed, "I'm gonna go to sleep, night Y/N." He waved slightly and left the room, closing the door gently behind him. You looked after him, thinking about earlier. "Why did he have to kiss me to find out if I was crying or not??" You asked yourself. You glanced at the digital clock beside your bed and sighed, 12:10, you got up and threw off your clothes and put your sleep ware on.

You woke up and read the clock, "Shit! I'm gonna be late for work!" Classes hadn't started for school yet but you still had a job in the area which was at the Cafe you had went to with Doppio. You sent them an email (job application document) to apply a few minutes after you and Doppio had left. They got back to you around 11 pm. You grabbed your dorm keys and your bag, rushing out the door.

You arrived at the Cafe, waving at the cashier as you went to the back to put on your apron and walked back out to the front to assist. You had plenty of jobs before so they said for starters, you would work at the register and maybe help make drinks. You had texted Doppio on the way here that you would be at work till about 2 pm, you hadn't checked your phone since then but you didn't care. You were supposed to observe and follow what the cashier before you, Giorno, you watched as he greeted the customer with a smile and took his order happily, "The usual Narancia?" The customer nodded and went to wait for his order. Giorno looked at you, "Just greet them and take the order with a kind smile on your face." You nodded as he left to make the previous customer order. You stepped up yo the register, greeting and taking the order of the man with a fake smile, but it was still convincing.

You glanced at your watch, 1:38, you looked at the door and at the back room again. You looked at door as it opened, your eyes widened a little, "Oh hey Doppio, whatcha need?" He looked at the menu, "Well I'm here to take you back to the dorm since I don't want you getting kidnapped but other than that, I'll take the tea we had yesterday." You blushed slightly at how kind he was to you. You nodded and went to make his tea but before handing it to him, you sighed "Ya know, I can take care of myself, you don't need to worry." He grabbed it and took a sip, "Well since I saw you crying yesterday, I can't trust that you're happy with yourself so I don't you to pull a stunt or someone pull one on you." You nodded slightly, "Well thanks for caring, I'm out in about 20 minutes so if you wanna wait around you can."

Doppio sat in the corner of the Cafe reading a book and drinking his tea, glancing over to see the time every now and again. He stood up when it read 1:57 and looked at you, you glanced at it after finishing taking the order. You grabbed the tongs and pulled out two croissants and served the man, "Here sir, have a nice day!" You said pleasantly, plastering a smile onto your face. You looked at Giorno who nudged you, "Grab your drink and then your good for the day, see ya tomorrow kid." You nodded and grabbed a Rasberry tea before leaving with Doppio.

"Y/N, classes start next week, where do you go?" "I think I go to the main hall, Class 420 I think it was." "Wait really? You're with me?" You glanced at him, "I guess." You took a sip of tea and unlocked the door to the dorm and set down your bag and took off your shoes. Doppio walked into his room, leaving you alone in the kitchen. You sighed and thought about it all. You felt your heart tug when you thought of Doppio. You would blush and get shy. Doppio would make your heart race, your head spin, and your eyes spark with happiness. You took sip of tea and looked towards his room, hoping he had small feelings for you as well.
