Luke was talking to Ravi in the school cafeteria.

"I've been trying to make friends today brother, but nobody seems to notice me," Ravi said upset.

"Well they're noticing," Luke said. "Look I'm gonna hurry so here's what you need to do: Find one main friend, meet all his friends and bam, you're popular,"

"Oh, I see. Hello friend," Ravi said. He offers Luke a handshake.

"Gosh. Oh I wish it could be me, but- you need to make friends your own age. And grade level," Luke told him.

"Okay. I'll try again," Ravi said and walked away.

Luke sighed in relief and sat with Riley and Maya at their lunch tables.

"Hey, girls," Luke greeted.

"Hey, freckles," Maya greeted.

"Hi, Luke," Riley greeted.

"Aww, look at him looking for a place to fit in," Maya said about Lucas.

"You think he'll sit with us?" Riley asked.

Maya slides over so there's a chair between her and Riley. Instead of Farkle, Ravi sits in the chair between Maya and Riley.

"Hi brother," Ravi waved at him. "Hi, ladies,"

"Interesting lunch line dilemma," Ravi said. He then looked at Maya and her plate, "Sloppy joe," He then looks at Riley and her plate. "or chicken pot pie?" He looks back at Maya, "Or sloppy joe," He looks back at Riley, "or chicken pot pie?"

"You're new here, aren't you?" Maya asked.

"That is correct. I'm Luke's younger brother!" Ravi said.

"Hi, I'm Riley," Riley greeted. "Ravi K. Ross, please to meet you," Ravi offered to shake her hand.

Luke got up a dragged Ravi away from the table.

"Ravi, what are you doing?" Luke asked, "You're embarrassing me in front of Maya,"

"I truly apologize, brother," Ravi said.

"You know what? We may be brothers at home, but outside the house, just pretend you don't know me," Luke said and walked out of the cafeteria.

Luke sat in his usual seat in Cory's class. Lucas sat down in his desk behind Riley and next to Luke.

"Hi. I'm glad you're back," Riley said.

"Hi. Me too," Lucas said back.

Cory approaches Riley and Lucas.

"Hi. Apparently you have a better sense of direction," Cory said, gestures to Riley, "than I anticipated,"

Riley turns back and puts her hands on her head, and Cory does the "I'm watching you" signal to Lucas.

"You are a really good-looking guy," Cory said to Lucas.

"Okay. So, today we're gonna find out if anybody here believes in something so strongly, they'd fight for it. Maya," Cory said.

"Yes, sir." She said.

"Present your homework," Cory requested.

"Can't do that, sir."

"Why not?" Cory asked.

"Didn't do my homework, sir."

"Why not?" Cory asked, again.

"That's what I'm fighting against, sir." Maya said.

"Oh, this could go on for a while," Farkle said.

Luke stares at Farkle weirdly as he puts on a sleep mask, and repeated his name.

"I didn't do my homework, either." Riley said.

"Oh, really?" Cory questioned.

"Yeah. We're the same, now." Riley confirmed. "I don't believe in homework,"

"Guess what, Riley?" Cory said "That doesn't make you the same as Maya at all,"

Maya raises her hand. "I have something to say,"

"Wow, I don't know what to do, I've never seen this before. The floor's yours, Ms. Hart," Cory said.

Maya stands up and walks over to Farkle. "Get up, Farkle." She said, and pulls on his sleep mask. "You're gonna wanna be awake for this,"

Farkle quickly stands up. "Is it our honeymoon?" He asked.

"No, you missed that. Now it's time to hand in your essays," Luke tells him.

"Oh! Farkle goes first, Farkle always goes first!" Farkle said before leaving the classroom.

"Alright, everybody who did their homework, put it on your desk," Maya said, and starts collecting.

"What are you going to do this time?" Luke asked.

Maya smirked. "You'll see,"

"Careful there, Ms. Hart," Cory said.

"Are you sure about this?" Riley asked.

"I got this," Maya said.

"Okay," Riley said.

Farkle enters with an extravagant project. "The branding of Atlanta led to the end of the Civil War, and of peace. I believe that peace is worth fighting for,"

Maya takes a sparkler off of his project. "Hey, that's a pivotal part of my diorama!" Farkle tells her. Maya ignored him and takes another sparkle, "And there goes Virginia,"

"The burning of the homework led to the end of the Homework Rebellion, because there was no more homework," Maya said

She stands on a chair, about to burn the homework with the sparklers. Cory takes the homework from Maya.

"Alright, alright," Cory said. "That's far enough, Maya. I get it,"

Maya chanted with the class. "No homework, more freedom!"

The fire touches the sprinklers, which sets them off, then the fire alarm rings. "Okay, so those work," Maya said.

"Is this all part of your presentation, or is this actually going on?" Farkle asked, in a panic.

Everybody flees the classroom.

Lucas holds his jacket over him and Riley. "Why didn't you stop your friend?"

"That's not what I do anymore!" Riley said.

"You're better than that!" Lucas told her.

"I'm just letting her be her," Riley said.

Farkle runs to the front of the classroom, and climbed onto Cory.

"Ms. Hart, you have detention. The principal will determine if it goes farther than that," Cory said to Maya.

Maya steps down from the desk.

"Ms. Matthews, please leave" Cory said to his daughter.

"I deserve detention, too!" Riley said.

"No, you don't. You didn't do anything," Cory said. "And Because you didn't do anything, your best friend is in very big trouble. Alright Farkle, you can get down now."

"Well, you're actually quite comfortable, sir." Farkle said.

"Thank you... Get off!" Cory shouted.

"Farkle isn't going anywhere!" Farkle yelled.
