Yessss!

I click on the next link. It's a list of the dancer's on my team. Kenzie's list was:

List of Advanced Mini Competition Dancers
Brynn Rumfallo
Mackenzie Ziegler
Asia Ray
Elliana Walmsley
Maesi Caes
Lilliana Ketchman

I open it;

List of Advanced Junior Competition Dancers
Madison Ziegler
Chloe Lukasiak
Paige Hyland
Nia Frazier
Kendall Vertes
Joelle Siwa

I think Chloe might be the other girl I saw at the audition. I already know Paige from the audition, and I can't wait to meet Nia, Kendall, and Joelle.

I take a picture and send it to my mom.

Mommy Mel ♥️: Yayy! I'll be home soon, okay?
Maddie 🥰: Okay
Mommy Mel ♥️: Love you
Maddie 🥰: Love you too

My mom was at the grocery store. Ya' know, LA's not too bad. I might like it here. Although I miss Millie and Grace so much. We called ourselves "The Three Threats"
I was dancing.
Grace was singing.
Millie was acting.
None of us could do all three well, so instead of us being 'The Triple Threats' we're 'The Three Threats.' And yes, there is a difference.

I sigh. I miss them so much, already. Tomorrow is our first rehearsal for competition, so I decide to get ready for bed. Luckily school and actual dance classes don't start until next Thursday.

I hop in the shower and wash up. I wash my face, braid my hair, change into an old dance t-shirt and black leggings, and just wait for my mom downstairs while Kenzie watched Dance Moms.

Her favorite was Mackayla, the youngest girl, who reminded me so much of Kenzie it's not even funny. I personally liked Addie the most. She was the favorite and danced beautifully.

Addie and Mackayla were sisters. I actually competed against Addie back when I lived in Pittsburgh, and I beat her. Sigh, why did I have to move here?

(AN: Addie is the alternative of Maddie, and Mackayla is the alternative of Mackenzie (-:)

"Maddieeeee! It's dance daaaay!" Kenzie squeals while jumping on my bed.
I groan. "What time is it?"
"4:45 AM!" Kenzie yells.
"Kenzie! Classes aren't until 10:00, and you woke me at 5? Nah-uh, I'm sleeping in. Byeee!"

***

"You should've gotten up with me at 4:45!" Kenzie taunts when I finally get in the car.
"Look Kenz, I know you're excited, but I don't share your love of mornings!" I say, frustrated.

"Well, thanks to you, I'm going to be late!" Kenzie pouts.
"Big deal!"
"Maddie," My mom warns.

I roll my eyes and sit back in my seat. I can't wait to meet my team!

***

"Bye Kenz," I say as Kenzie walks into her first rehearsal. I sit back on one of the studio's couches, waiting for my team to come in.
