'DONT do that'

KATSUKI BAKUGOU'S POV
×××

Ochako awkwardly stood still grabbing on to her arm for self-reassurance.

"You look beautiful, Ochako."

Her eyes widened and her cheeks heated up. I smiled coming closer to her. I set a firm yet comforting hand on her shoulder.

"You sure you want this?" I asked since she seemed pretty uncomfortable earlier.

She nodded and smiled nervously. "I really like this one, Katsuki..."

I patted her shoulder and stepped back with arms crossed.

"You look really nice in it." I said making her blush again. I blushed watching her fidget around.

"Thank you."

I stood staring at her for a few moments until she caught me in which I looked away almost instantly.

"I'm going to change back, wait here." She said pointing at one of the seats around the changing room. I listened and sat myself down looking at the tiles of the floor.

After a few minutes Ochako walked out carrying the swim-suit in her hand.

"Did you get anything?" She asked me looking at my empty hands.

"Tch. I don't need anything."

She puffed out her cheeks and lost her perfect posture. "What do you mean you don't need anything?! We're going to the beach!"

I patted the top of her head making her more upset. She was so adorable I couldn't say no.

"Tch. Fine."

We walked towards the racks and I turned to see Ochako already looking through the racks for some shorts.

"Oi Round face, I can do this myself."

She kept her gaze at the clothes flipping through all of them, taking a quick look before moving on to the next article of clothing on the rack.

"I want to help." Is all she said. It was like she was mumbling though and she shyly moved around the clothes.

I smirked and came close to her leaning down so that we were both at eye level and I reached out my hand towards the rack. I took my hand into hers as she tugged on some swim shorts.

I could see the tips of her ears getting all red and I held back a laugh.

"What are you doing Katsuki?" She whispered in an irritated tone. I chuckled.

"I'm just looking for something to wear to the beach."

She sighed and continued rummaging through the racks. I traced her hand all the way up to the finger tips before interlacing our hands together. She let out a small gasp.

"Katsuki, stop doing that!" She whined blushing roughly at this "scandalous" situation I put her through.

"Tch. Look here, let's just get this one." I pointed towards a plain black pair of swim shorts sitting on a table in which Ochako face palmed.

"Why didn't you tell me you wanted that one before putting me through all this trouble?" She pouted dragging her self towards the table I was at and crossing her arms.

"I just saw it. Besides you look cute when you get all upset like that."

She blushed trying hard to not yell at me but instead she just kept quiet.

"Look I'm sorry Pink cheeks, it's not my fault you have such a nice looking face."

I smirked at her which sent her a rampage she punched at my arm. "Katsuki! Dont say stuff like that!"

I laughed and walked towards the register where an older woman stood.

"Did you find everything okay?" She smiled.

Ochako smiled but I could tell she was upset deep down.

"Yeah!" She enthusiastically said placing the clothes we were going to buy on the table. After scanning the items she placed them into a bag and held it out to me.

"It's always nice having couples come in." She cupped the sides of her face blushing.

Ochako and I stared for a moment before she waved her hands around telling the lady she had it all wrong.

"Oh we're not dating! We're just friends!"

The woman kept smiling. "Oh I swore I heard you you both arguing like an old married couple." She laughed and waved us off.

"Have a great day!"

Ochako waved back with a warm smile displayed on her face. Once we stepped foot out the door Ochako seemed to tense up again.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked looking down at her with the plastic bag dangling from my hand.

"It's nothing. Should we go back to the hotel?" She questioned with a finger under her chin.

"Nah, it's the afternoon now. Want to go eat something real quick?"

I pointed towards an area which looked like it had a lot of restaurants around. She nodded and started to walk with me.

I could tell she was thinking about the time she told me that didn't want to date me yet, after she had gotten rejected by the Shitty nerd.

I could see the concentration and pain in her eyes. Maybe I shouldn't had teased her... Maybe it was wrong of me to mess with her like that while she's still recovering from the trauma that's been hovering in her head.

"Hey." I called out for her making her direct her attention back to me.

"You know, I'm sorry about earlier. It was a pretty stupid thing of me to do."

She looked up with a twinkle in her eye. "No it's okay. It just made me think about something thats all. And it's not your fault, so don't worry." She flashed a big grin at me. I smiled back but it was a bit of a saddened smile.

I knew what was clouding her mind yet she kept refusing it. I took my hand and patted her shoulder gently reassuring her as we came close to the restaurants.
