Chapter 24

"Here. Don't forget the documents." Uraraka handed the documents to Bakugou.

"Right." Bakugou mumbled, looking down at the papers in his hands. Kirishima just stood beside him, glancing over at the papers. "Here. You hold on to it." He shoved the documents against Kirishima's chest. Kirishima took them right after Bakugou let go of them.

"You're finally not wearing that stupid cape of yours, and you're not shirtless." Uraraka said for no reason, getting both the boys' attentions.

"Hah?" Bakugou raised an eyebrow. Kirishima could feel Bakugou burning up in anger.

"I feel like a proud mom." Uraraka said, pretending that she was shedding a tear. Bakugou started shouting at her and she just kept on laughing. Kirishima on the other hand was just watching them. He felt so out of place. He tried not be bothered by it. After all, Uraraka and Bakugou have known each other for a long time now. He knew that much at least. That didn't help it though. He still felt out of place, and somewhat jealous - jealous of Uraraka. Jealous of how she could just casually talk with him without having an awkward atmosphere around.

"Come on. Let's go." Bakugou said, snapping Kirishima out of his thoughts.

"Okay." Kirishima said in a quiet tone, styling his hair a bit, not really being used to having his hair let down. He turned his head at Uraraka, softly smiling at her. "Well then, we're off." He waved at her.

"Bye bye." Uraraka smiled and waved back at him. Bakugou left without saying anything, pulling his hood up so that not many people would notice who he is. Kirishima followed right after he put on his boots. And so, they were on their way to reveal the truth about this town.

"Tell me who the first person on the list." Bakugou told him as they walked, breaking the awkward atmosphere.

"Um..." Kirishima took a look at the first document that was on top of all the other ones. "The first victim is Mina Ashido." He told him. Bakugou kept quiet, wanting Kirishima to continue. "Erm. She disappeared two weeks ago. It happened at night time. No one is sure how she disappeared." He gave him the information he needed.

"Then how about the witnesses?" Bakugou asked, trying not to make any eye contact with anyone so they wouldn't get a good look on his face and notice who he was.

"There was only one witness." Kirishima first told him before getting to the important part. "Well, the witness isn't much of a help in the first place. He didn't really witness much in the first place. It says that he was hanging out with the victim, but then he left her to grab some drinks." He took a pause to see if Bakugou wanted him to continue, which he wanted. "He came back only to notice that she was gone. That was the only thing he witnessed."

"Not much of a witness, huh." Bakugou commented, sighing. "Who's the witness?" He asked.

"A guy named Hanta Sero." Kirishima answered.

"Well, we're going to visit him and ask him some questions." Bakugou decided. "Tell me where he lives." He said and Kirishima did as he said, telling him the address.

"And you two are?" A blondie ended up answering the door instead of the one they were expecting, aka Sero.

"Haaaah?" Bakugou furrowed his eyebrows.

"Y- your're..." Kirishima pointed at the guy, having trouble with finishing his sentence.
