What are sisters for?

Shiro/izuki pov
Me and and my little sis, Shirayuki, i call her Shira for short, were walking in the forest. "Shira come look" I say as my sister jogged to my direction. "What did you find sis?" She asks, her tone full of excitement.  I showed her the herb, I myself was proud of the discovery. "This is perfect" my sister says as she takes it and puts it in her bag. "Come on or we're gonna be late to open the shop" I tell her. Shirayuki looked a little disappointed. I knew how she felt. "Race you there!" I tease her and start running. I could hear her say no fair as i ran.

Shirayuki pov

Ah, the wind gently brushing my skin as i run and the lovely sun shun its light bringing out the forests adoring beauty. I love it. As i reach my olders sisters pace i give her a wink. "Didn't think you'd get this slow"i teased her. She laughed. Soon we reached the shop. " And we are officially..Open" she said as she gave me a warmhearted smile. I love to see my sister smile after all shes done so much for me. I feel like she deserves better though. She really does remind me of grandma and grandpa. "Hey, no sad face" my sister tells me and she pushes me to my end of the shop. We follow our routine, i take the orders and make herbs while my sister make food made of some herbs if people need treatment right away. I honestly like the way we live, but sometimes i wish there were a little more to it, some adventure, i would love to travel   the world and im sure Shiro feels the same.

(Meanwhile in a castle a royal idiot and pain in the royal- )shiro: boss i think they get it)

Nobody pov
As prince Raji shenazard, admired himself lost in thought when his advisor Sakaki had disturbed his thought. "My prince you have a guest". Raji, upset to be disturbed, snapped back "I can see that Sakaki!" The royal idiot said as he crossed his arms and turned his attention to the peasant. "Your behind on your payment farmer!" Raji said as he stared down at the old man, not something he wasn't used to. "Sir, please I have found a way to pay my share" the old man begged as he looked up to the Prince of Tabarun. "And what way is that?" Raji said. "There are two beautiful girls in town, your majesty, both with hair as red as a apple and are famous around townsfolk." The man said as he described of the girls. And the Prince would  come know his fate, very soon.

  Shiro POV

   Today was a busy day for us both as me and my sister had switched places constantly. "How is that tea working for you Ms. Almanac?" I ask our last customer, Ms Almanac has always been a friend to grandma and grandpa so she visited often. "Really good dear, thank you, I just stay to see you two and your lovely hair though" Ms. Almanac says as she giggles lightly.  I look at my sister who simply smiles back at me. I cant help but giggle as well. Though, something about today feels familiar to me. Just as I was beginning to think Ms almanac Jumps up. "OH dear I left the stove on!" She begins to run out of the shop without a second glance. "She's so nice" Shirayuki says as she puts away the herbs from today. "Indeed she is, such a energetic woman for her age too" I said as we both laughed. I walked over to the shop door only to meet face to face with a guard. "Is something wrong sir?" I asked but the knight invited himself in. "The Prince of Tabarun requests you and your sisters presence at the Royal ball." The guard says strictly. Wait, I remember this, this is when the guard threatens shirayuki. "May I ask why?" Shirayuki asks from behind me. "He wants both of you to become his concubines" the guard stated bluntly with a smirk on his face. "That's ridiculous, he doesnt even know us" Shirayuki said, clearly shocked. "You will show up to ball and we will make sure it happens" the guard said as he began to threaten my sister. I jump in between the two and stare the guard down. "I think it's time you leave" I tell the guard as  I push him toward the door.

     Once the guard left I turned to my sister. She held such a sad expression..

-even with being here, the storyline is taking it's normal course, now to just make sure if stays that way-

   Shirayuki POV
   I cant beleive it...are we really going to be forced into this?..Just as I was getting lost in thought I feel my sister embrace me. "Your not going to go along with this" she says as she gives me a smile. "What do you mean?" I ask, I couldn't understand how she was taking this so calmly. "Because we are going to run away there is no way I'm letting anyone treat my sister like a trophy" Shiro said, her green eyes showing promise and I could tell she mean't it. "I'll pack everyone their medicine to take before we leave" I say as I stop feeling bad and get up. "I'll pack food for us" my sister say as she begins grabbing bread and any supply that can last us some time.

Shiro POV

As we were about the leave Shirayuki stopped. "Sis?" I asked. She looked at me with her determined green eyes and went to grab the scissors. "So he wants my shiny red hair, well we can leave him part of what he wanted" she said as she gave a smirk. I had a sense of pride at how savage my sister was for that move but instead I nodded as she cut it. "U-um shira?" I asked. Shirayuki looked at me puzzled. "What's wrong?" She asked. "Well, your hair is a bit uneven but I'm sure once we find a place to stay we can get cut the strand sticking out" I said as i reassured her the problem wasn't serious. And with that we grabbed our things and headed out, the sun was just setting and the ball would begin tonight, however over my dead body will I let my sister go to a obsessed freaks castle just so he can see her hair. He wants red, he can go buy a fucking carpet, oh wait, that gives me a excellent idea. "Shiro, where are we going?" Shira asks confused why I turned around. "Theres something i want to leave behind too sis." I tell her as i face ahead a smirk crossing my face.

We talk to a farmer and convince him to take us to the border of the kingdom along the road in which he is heading. The man was kind and let us hop on the back. "Here Shiro" Shirayuki said as she handed me a berry from her stash, we had skipped dinner preparing for our escape. "Thank you for all of this" Shirayuki said as she gave me that warm hearted smile I couldn't resist. "Dont thank me sis, I'm your older sister and I wont let anyone take you away, I will always love you and have your back." I reply " After all, what are sisters for?" I tease as lightly elbow her arm. In response she laughs and does the same back. I mean it, I will always protect you, not because I know your fate and the characters of this story, but because I have grown with you, not as a character but as family. I promise on that.

Bonus scene

As The prince waited he had seen countless of nobles and princesses enter however none of them were the girls with red hair. Annoyance grew on the prince as did the limit of his patience. Raj is about to leave when suddenly one of his knights had called his attention. "Prince, the crafter is outside saying he has a delivery for you" The guard reports as sweat appears from running. "Whatever, what does he want?" Raj asks his annoyance growing more. "He has a gift apparently sent from one of the sister with red hair" He states as Raj jumps immediately at his mentions of the girls. "Bring him in now!" Raj order and within seconds the crafter is in front of him. "You have a gift?" He asks, and the crafter says yes as he reveals the gift and sets it upon the floor. Raj looks confused and walks up to the carpet to be see its red and on it were words printed here is the red you need your majesty and upon looking to the corner the carpet had in bold letters read

"Bitch"

Raj's eyes widen and his mouth opens "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!??"
