Beep beep beep. I turn off my alarm and grab my phone. First day of sophomore year. August 15. I get out of bed and walk to my bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I put on a small amount of makeup and braided my hair into a bun. I walked to my closet and put on a long sleeve shirt i got from Disney and leggings from Lulu Lemon. I grabbed my bag and phone and went downstairs. I walked to my garage and grabbed my bike. Before driving to school I texted my best friend, Halle.
Queen 👑: Yo, on my way!
I slid my phone into my bag and rode to her house. I put my bike in the drive way and knocked at the door. Halle answered.
Halle: Quinn!! Quinn: Hey, didn't you get my text? Halle: No, I didn't.
I checked my phone. Halle has recently gotten a new number and I must've typed the number wrong.
Quinn: I texted the wrong number. Halle: Oh, well you can just block them. Quinn: Mmm, I wanna see who they are.
We rode our bikes to school. Once we got there, we walked in and went to our lockers. Our lockers were right by each other. Once the minute bell rang, I started walking to social studies. I was in AP European History. I took a seat in the front. I really wanted to pass with flying colors. The bell rang at 8:32.
I met up with Halle by our lockers cause we had English together. She was coming from science upstairs. We walk to the classroom. We got assigned seats and we were somewhat by each other. We ended up watching a movie on Netflix for a majority of class.
After English, Halle and I went back to our lockers. I grabbed my Spanish stuff and said bye to Halle. I went upstairs to my study hall classroom. I sat down and grabbed my phone that random number texted me back.
Unknown: Sorry, you've got the wrong number Quinn: I'm sorry! But anyway what's up? Unknown: Your really gonna talk to a random person? Quinn: I'm stuck in study hall, so yes. Unknown: Oh, your still in school. So we could be the same age. Quinn: I'm 15! Unknown : I just turned 16 last month. Quinn: I'm Quinn! Unknown: Payton. Quinn🤯: Nice to meet you! Payton🥴: You too, where you from? Quinn🤯: Wyoming, you? Payton🥴: California. Quinn🤯: Lucky! Payton🥴: Ever heard of tik tok? Quinn🤯: I'm on it all the time!
