I looked sharply into his brown eyes, and I knew, it wasn't over. We were just getting started.
*5 years earlier*
I curled the last piece of my blond hair and pinned it back in place. I brushed the last stroke of mascara on my long eyelashes as I looked into the mirror on my wall. I had a tight white dress that came about 6 inches above my knees. The lace sleeves came to my wrists. I had a black necklace on to tie it all togethor. I applied a coat of red lipstick on, and put red velvet pumps on. I smiled at myself when I heard the doorbell ring. I walked down the stone steps and opened the door. "Hey." he said as I opened the door and he looked at me up and down. "Wow, you look beautiful," he said. He leaned in and kissed me softly on my lips, trying not to mess up my lipstick. "Nope, none of that!" smirked my dad as he walked up to the door. "Hello, Michael," said my dad as he shook his hand. "Hello, Mr. Warren." My dad looked at me. "Ella, is that dress a bit short?" I rolled my eyes and giggled while Michael took ahold of my hand and walked me to the car. Homecoming. We'd all dreamed about it when we were little. Michael was perfect. Everything was perfect. Not one thing could ruin this night.
When we got there, it had already started. Michael and I had just came to this school, so nobody knew us. Everyone was sitting, because the school principal was saying something about "staying appropriate" We walked in and the principal lowered her glasses and looked over at us. "Oh yes, and these are some new students, come here. We walked over and she said, "This is Ella and Michael, yes?" "Yes," I said. I looked at everyone in the chairs, and we met eyes. I looked away, but he didn't. I looked back up, and we met eyes again. He smiled at me, and his eyebrows scrunched togethor as he bit his lip. He ran his fingers through his dark brown hair. I took a deep breath and looked away. I could still feel him staring at me. I couldn't help it, so I looked back over. This jaw clenched when we met eyes. There was a girl next to him who saw the way he looked at me, and she hit his shoulder and whispered something, then gave me a look. The principal stopped talking, and it was finally starting. We all made our way to the floor and "Chains" by Nick Jonas began to play. Michael and I slow danced and I rested my head on his shoulder. I looked up and it happened again. He was there. Looking at me. I was getting late, and I felt dizzy. Everything was a blurr. The room kept spinning. "Michael?" I said. The hand that had been holding mine gripped tighter. What was happening? My eyes focused and I grabbed my phone. 4:12 a.m. I jumped up and looked to my left and to my right. Where am I? I thought. I was laying on grass. I managed to pull myself up off the ground and I had only panties on,an oversized black tux jacket, and my red heels. There was a bathroom a few yards away from the tree I was laying under. I pulled my heels off and walked over to it. I opened the heavy door and walked in looking in the mirror. My hair was messy so I pulled it back into a curly ponytail. I had red marks on my cheeks and my neck. My bra was lying in the sink so I quicky put it on under the jacket and buttoned up the bottom three buttons, which covered everything, and was about 10 inches above my knees. I had no idea what was going on. My stomach hurt, and I had a bad headache. Where was Michael? I thought. I walked outside of the bathroom and made sure the jacket was pulled down far enough and looked up and met eyes again. I knew exactly what happened. "Who are you?" I whispered to him. He looked at me confused. He didn't have a shirt on, only unbuckled suit pants. There were red lipstick marks on his cheeks, down to his cheast, and further down. "I'm Grayson. Is that my jacket?" I looked down and realized it was his. I unbuttoned it and took it off and handed it to him, then realizing I only had panties and a bra on. I caught his eye on me, and I pushed his chin up, so we met eyes and I handed him the jacket. "I'm Ella. Ella Warren." I looked at him hoping he would break the silence. "Dolan." he whispered before he grabbed my waist and pulled me towards him, roughly kissing my lips. I walked backwards leading him into the bathroom. He dropped his jacket on the floor and picked me up and set me on the counter, pushing against me. His lips moved from mine to my neck. I bit my lips holding in a moan. He could tell I was close. "One more time," he said thrusting. His hand pulled my lower back closer to him. I couldn't hold in another moan, so I let it out. This made him smile, as we both reached our high. Once we both finished. He let me off the counter as I wiped my mouth and we exchanged smiles.
We both left the park, sneaking into our own houses before anyone knew we were even gone. Later that week, I was at school in the hallway and Michael came up to me. "Hey, where did you go at homecoming?" I gulped and hesitated to answer while I was thinking up something to say. "My phone died, so my dad got worried because he was calling so he came and picked me up. I tried to find you but I couldn't." he stared at me for a second. "Sorry?" I said sarcastically smiling. "Ok, well see ya at lunch!" "Can't wait!" I responded as the smile drew away as Grayson walked by giving me "the look" "Hey Ella!" he said coming up to me. "Hey uh, how are you?" I responded as I held my hand over my mouth and ran into the bathroom while Grayson looked both ways to make sure a teacher didn't see him go into the woman's bathroom and he held my hair back as I let my guts out into the toilet. I gave him a worried look. This was the third time I have had to thrown up at school. "You couldn't be-" I stopped him. "Shh!" I whispered. I looked around. "Meet me at the front of the school during lunch. Wait, I have to meet Michael for lunch," I stopped. "Skip 3rd period ok and meet me at the front." He nodded and we continued our classes until the time came. I snuck out of the hallway and we met at the front. We walked across the street into a small drug store on the corner. I ran to the back because my mom worked there and she couldn't see me out of school. I stood by the bathroom and Grayson handed me a little box and I walked in. Grayson was standing outside the door. "Ok it's been three minutes," he said. I opened my eyes and saw three little +++ on the sticks. I hit my fist on the wall and looked at myself in the mirror as my mascara began to run. I opened the door and Grayson walked in. He looked at the sticks and pulled me close to him. I burried my face in his chest. "It's ok. I'm not going anywhere. We can do this." He whispered in my ears. I pulled away and smiled in the mirror. He held my face in his hands and wiped my tears off my face smiling at me. He pulled my face to his, giving me a little kiss before hugging me again.
*5 months later*
I was big, but I always wore baggy clothes, so nobody could tell. I was still pretending to love Michael. Nobody knew except Grayson and I. The next 4 months were the worst. From swollen feet, vomiting, and constant headaches, it was terrible, but Grayson was with me every step of the way. He felt more pain then I did.
I woke up in the middle of the night to a really bad pain. I creeped down the stairs and called Grayson to tell him it was time. I walked to the corner of the street and he drove to pick me up. He looked me in the eyes and kissed me on the forehead. He drove me to the hospital. I woke up a few hours later to Grayson kneeling by my bed holding my hand, sound asleep. The doctor walked in and told me it was time to get ready. "Where are your parents?" he asked. "Out of town," I lied. "Ok, well when your ready!" 20 minutes later our baby boy was born. 7 lbs 4 oz. I held him in my arms and Grayson and I smiled. "Mason," said Grayson. "Mason Thomas Dolan Warren." I nodded smiling.
*5 Years Later*
I smiled looking over at my 19 year old boyfriend, with my perfect son, Mason sitting on his lap. Mason looked just like Grayson. "So, how did you do it?" asked Ellen. "I think the hardest part was just leaving. We left. I haven't seen my parents ever since Mason was born," I said beginning to cry, "And how about your brother, Ethan?" she asked turning to Grayson. "That was the hardest thing. He was my best friend. We did everything togethor. He probobly hates me, and I don't blame him. Not at all." he said looking sadly at me. "Daddy dont cwy!" said Mason as the audience began giggling. "I'm not mad. I just wish you brought me with you," said someone walking onto the stage. Grayson put Mason on my lap and ran towards him. "Ethan!" he said giving him a huge hug. Mason jumped off my lap and grabbed the microphone from Ellen. "Don't you guuws know theywe bromie omies!?"
Grayson looked at me, and I looked sharply into his brown eyes, and I knew, it wasn't over. We were just getting started.
