Main dancer usually dancing in the front, taking dance breaks, free styling and showcasing short parts of the dance when requested while the lead dancer usually supports the main dancer.
Main Dancer – the best dancer of the group and the one who got all the dance solos.
Lead Dancer – the second best dancer of the group, and usually back-up the main dancer.
So for T-ARA:
Jiyeon and Eunjung are the main dancers. (Jiyeon can pick up dance steps easily. Eunjung is really an inborn dancer. They are the best dancers in T-ARA)
Hyomin and Qri are the lead dancers.
