{Fate whispers to the wolf,

"You cannot withstand the storm"}

Pulling my jacket on and untucking my hair, I stare up at the brick up. Apart of me wants to back out, but I take a step forward. Hesitation is death. Fixing my hair, I make my way inside the bar, spotting the car with the same license plate Joey said.

Why the hell couldn't he find it?

Walking into the bar, my eyes swipe over seeing it nearly empty. Not that I trust them. I go straight to the bar and flagging the bartender smirking to myself when I notice Fez in the mirror looking over. His eyes were narrowed seeing me here. It's not much of a surprise that I'm here. It shouldn't be.

The sun was rising showing it was approaching seven o'clock in the morning. My cosmopolitan, which was made in front of me, had citrus vodka, Cointreau, lime juice, and cranberry juice inside of it. I take a sip, watching Fez in the mirror furthest from me. Thankfully, I didn't sit in front of it. He's making his way over and they set a glass of bourbon next to me. I turn my eyes away from the mirror looking at the bottles in front of me. Counting about twelve men in the bar, I wouldn't be impressed. Hell, I'm not impressed by this.

"Miss. Lodge, such a pleasure to see you again. What brings you here?" Fez questions sitting down next to me.

"Your men at the warehouse... it's a bit of a mess." I explain.

Turning to look at him, his jaw ticks as he looks away. Ah, so he knows about it. He fixes his tie before folding his hands on the bar top.

"You declared war on us." He states.

"Wrong, you did that when you took my Second and blew up my bar. I thought of returning the favor, but... I can have the bar rebuilt soon. Money isn't an issue for me." I tell him.

"Why are you here?" He asks.

I throw the drink back savoring the flavor. Setting the empty glass down, I turn to him smirking. Crossing my legs over the other, I'm certain he can see the gun in my holster. "I'm here to kill you and your men." His cocky look waivers in surprise. I guess he didn't expect me to say that out loud. Feeling the pressure of a barrel on my chest, I smirked in amusement. Oh, honey... you don't know me. It will land on the vest if he shot me right now.

Samuel POV

"Katie! Time to wake up." I say opening her room door.

I frown seeing the bed empty and the blankets upturned. Backtracking to my room, I look for my keys opening the drawers, realizing it wasn't there. I clenched my jaw knowing she slipped through my fingers again. Grabbing my phone, I call Joey's number having gotten it from Hiram before leaving. "Hello?" He answers.

"Where is Katie?"

"Who is this?"

"It's Lucky. Hiram told me to contact you if I couldn't find her. I found her at the hospital but she's not in the hotel anymore. So did you see her?"

"I saw her thirty minutes ago. She said she'd be back."

"You didn't think to follow her?" I question him.

Idiots.

They're all fucking idiots.

He greets me with silence telling me he didn't do such a simple thing. Sighing, I make my way to the room before stopping. She took my fucking car. She took my car! I snatch the key card up noticing she took that as well. Leaving the hotel, I flag down a taxi calling Joey back since the dumbass hang up on me.
