An Unescapable Fate

He stood up tall and his smile never leaving his face. But I could tell this man had killed a lot of people in the past, and now I might be one of them.

"Oh what a pleasant surprise to see you all here alive and well," He said.

"Who are you and what are you going to do? Because I know that your not an average person I'd see on the street." I asked

"How rude asking someone's name before introducing yourself first. Why don't you try it again and please act a bit nicer too."

I bit my lip in frustration. What should I say and what should I do, this guy is not normal that's for sure. But the question here is how strong is he and is he even human?  I felt a gust of wind whip my hair back in the direction of my parents. I turned my body so it faced the sight of my parents holding their breath as a blade shone bright near their necks.

"Don't you dare to even hurt them!" I yell

"Oh and what will you do if I dare." As he teasingly moved his arm slightly closer to their necks

"Oh do you really think their your real parents? How strange, the last time I checked you three or four I should say counting you "brother". You four aren't even related by blood. What do you have to say about that?"

"Mom... Dad... Is this true?" They both couldn't look me in the eye nor did they say anything.

"Should I tell your beloved "daughter" the truth or do you want to spit it out..."

"No answer means that they want me to be the story teller today! Okay lets go back to the beginning, the day you were born. Your real mom and dad gave birth to you in a secret base they took shelter. Just after you were born, the government found out the location of this base. The night you were born Juri and Haruka were there and your parents gave you to them to watch over. But whats so special is that your parents aren't ordinary vampires. You are part of the first bloodline of inhuman beings to be of this race. Your parents and you have bodies more powerful, agile, and speed greater than others. That is also one of the great reasons the government has gone so far to call me to exterminate you. The funny thing is, is that even after your parents have you to Juri and Haruka to take care of you were still separated from them and now things have come to this. Say goodbye Yuki or should I say Kyoko."

It happened in a matter of seconds, even though they both weren't my real parents they both had taken care of me the best they could. Their blood stained the floor, across their necks was a cut so deep that their head would have fallen if you were to blow slightly, and the smell of the air was sickening. The sweet smell of blood was choking me. Kaname came from behind and gave me embraced me even though he had just witnessed his own parents killed right before his eyes.  I couldn't take it anymore and my body just broke into a million pieces. One word echoed in my mind over and over and over. Kill... Kill... KIll... KILL! I would have gone on a rampage if Kaname hadn't held me tight.

"Kyoko whats wrong are you mad? Are you angry? Or do you desire this sweet blood?"

I motioned for Kaname to let me go. And whispered something in his ear and he whispered in mine. I went up to Kise and Aomine who watched this experience from the back round. I could tell they were terrified like us by the look in they're eyes. We each formed a mark somewhere on each of us so in the future we would all meet again. I turned to face this evil man.

"Listen up! If you want to kill me then go ahead. But the only way that will happen is if I die in battle with you, what do you say?"

"I agree on that declaration of war, but I warn you that I won't hold back." He brushed his hair back revealing his bright green eyes sending a shiver to run up my spine.

At that moment I let my instincts take over. Purple flames danced around me forming a ring. My eyes glowed a deep rich purple like the flames. We fought fiercely our bodies twisting and turning. Our bodies seem to dodge every jab, punch, or kick that tried to land on us. Our bodies seemed to fly in the air magically. From afar it looked as if we were dancing in the moonlight held up by an invisible string.

That night the building collapsed. No one knows what happened that night except the few of us that were there.  No one found any bodies under all the rubble. But I didn't die, nor did Kise or Aomine because our fates were held by a promise. A promise to live and fight for our lives.

Just barely visible to us all is a red string, this red string is tied around our pinkies somehow connected with everyone else out there.

To another beginning we go...
