"gosh, i'm so sick of travelling around..." ace sighed and dug his foot into the snow, kicking a small twig that was sticking out of it. he looked down from the hill he was standing on, watching the townspeople walk around and have chats with each other. he watched as the sky turned into a deep red, then an ocean blue, and finally a forest green. no person below seemed phased by it, perhaps it was normal to them, just like how the time in this place made no sense either.

after wandering around this planet for a while, ace seemed to understand what this meant. "209 scorils, and 67 secoia, it translates to approximately 6 hours and 4 minutes." he spoke to himself. however, translating would have gotten him no closer to figuring out where she would be at this time.
until, finally, a breeze came over. it tickled his ears and left whispers around him, the wind picked up his purple beanie and carried it out east. he looked back at the time. it still read 209:67. "this is it huh?" ace giggled. "this was your way of showing me?"
his boots making the snow crunch beneath him, he continued to walk to the same direction his beanie flew to. he eventually met it at a graveyard, sitting soundly on a gravestone that read 67. "i see, 67 was your number then?" ace picked the beanie off the stone, taking in his surroundings. he noticed that the rest of the graves around 67's were suffocated with bouquets and personal letters. he noticed that the flowers left were still bright as ever, even though the deceased were thousands of years old by now if they were alive.
he turned back to 67, finally catching a glimpse of the letter resting at the bottom. it read "to ace, from scarlet."
ace picked the note up, dusted the fallen snow off of it, and opened it carefully. he took in the words written, smiled, and placed it back down. he put his beanie back on his head so it fit snug, and left.
while following his own footsteps marked in the snow back up to the hill, he recalled what the note said.
"ace, its scarlet,
i hope your journey to
find me will not be in
vain, as much as i like our
little game of hide and seek,
i cant wait to finally meet
you, and stay together."
