Seeing them kissing made Rei's hatred for Kise fuel up more and more. This wasn't how it supposed to go! Forgiving Kise will only bring more pain! She's not going to let Rie experience the same thing over and over!

"Kise...!" A knife appeared in Rei's hand. She roared and stabbed at the invisible barrier, breaking it apart. "I'll kill you, Kise Ryouta!" 

Kise broke the kiss and pushed Rie out of the way. He was tackled to the soil of the barley field, Rei was sitting on top of him, trying to stab him. 

"I'll kill you, I'll kill you! I won't let you hurt Rie again! I won't let you hurt her again!" 

"Get off!" Kise held onto Rei's wrists, preventing her from stabbing him in the throat. He's not going to die here! There's no way he's going to let Rei kill him! 

"Die!!"

Rie got up from the ground and she saw what was going on. 

"Stop it... Stop!" Rie forced Rei away from Kise. "Ryouta, are you okay?" 

"I'm fine..." 

"Rie... I'm trying to protect you... Why can't you see that?" Rei's eyes were covered by the shadow of her fringe. Even if they can't see her eyes, they can tell her eyes were burning with anger. 

"Rei, don't hurt him..." 

"Why not?! He's the one who was hurting you, wasn't he?! He deserves it! Do you know how painful it is sleeping with pain every night?!" 

"Of course I know..." Rie said to Rei.

"Then why do you still choose to forgive him?!" 

Rie looked back at Kise, watching him stand up from the ground again. She gave a small smile at him before looking back at Rei. 

"I love him. I may have locked myself in the dream world but I haven't stopped myself from loving him... I thought I could only love him here but... I think I can try and love him again in the real world." Rie confessed.

"Riecchi..."

"You can't be serious... Why him?!" Rei clawed at the side of her head, pulling off strands after strands of her own hair out of uncontrollable frustrations. "Hahaha... Is that so? Then, I'll just have to kill you too!" Rei ran towards Rie with the knife, planning to kill Rie too. 

"Riecchi, come on!" Kise grabbed her hand and ran for the gate. What will happen if Rie ran through the gate? Kise didn't have the time to think about it because Rei was chasing after them through the barley field. 

As they ran towards the gate, Rie glanced back at Rei. Rie felt sorry for Rei; Rei's part of her, her other self that hated Kise. Rei wanted to kill Kise because of all the pain the blonde forced upon them and now that Rie's forgiving Kise, it made Rei feel that her existence have been pointless. Rie then realized that everything up to this point was part of her own fault... 

"Ah!" Kise managed to get through the open gate but an invisible force made it impossible for Rie to go past. "Ryouta!" 

"Riecchi!" Kise couldn't bring Rie to his side no matter how hard he tried to pull her through. "Why?! I am so close! Let me rescue her, please!!" Kise cried out, not wanting to leave Rie behind again. 

"Rie!!" Rei grabbed Rie's hair and threw her to the floor. She smiled down at Rie with a sinister smile, planning to inflict pain on her; if Rie dies in the dream world, she will die in reality too. 

"Rei, stop! We can just live in reality again! Things will be different!" 

"They won't be different! That guy is a bastard who used you over and over again! Either you die or he dies!"
