I smile as I put down my phone thinking about his birthday last year. We'd only known each other a few months and only just started dating. Shawn was always going on about how he wished he could have a dog. So I brought him one for his birthday, little did I know he's extremely allergic to dogs, we tried medication but there was something about his breed of dog that affected Shawn badly and it moulted a lot. I was really excited as well because I was planning on looking after it whilst he was away. So we had to give it to my auntie and decided to get a different breed when we had our own house together. I left for the airport and prepared for Shawn's big surprise.
