Neverland 2.0

Nightmare

The chamber was silent; Mary was sitting in her armchair. Her green eyes were closed, she was thinking about something, something that was her secret. Something she was calling a “world”, her world. In two weeks, she would be twelve years old. Her parents promised her that they would make a big birthday party. When they said that, she smiled but… really, it wasn’t what she wanted to have for her birthday. She was dreaming about something else, something wonderful but impossible. Every night, at this precise hour, Mary was always sitting in her armchair and thinking about her Neverland, she called it “Neverland 2.0” , this world was composed of several parts, and her “peter pan 2.0” was named Alexander, a tall and thin guy always dressed in orange, blue or green clothes. He was very different from the real Peter, his hairs were blonde and his eyes were grey and deep.

Mary decided to go to sleep. She literally jumped in her bed and she closed her eyes, trying to continue to think and create new character in her fantastic world. But she finally fell asleep.

“Alexander?”

She was in a complete darkness. All were dark but she knew that she was sleeping, it wasn’t the dark made by her closed eyes

“Alex?” She repeated.

“Miranda?” She whispered.

Miranda was her little fairy, a little girl with big and purple eyes. She heard the sound of Miranda’s voice but she didn’t see her. She was whispered, repeating two little words.

“Help us, Help us… “

“What? Why? Is there something wrong? “Marry Asked.

Marry only heard a heartbeat. It was slow and calming… But suddenly, it went faster. Mary was afraid of this noise; it was higher and higher in her poor ears.

“Miranda ! Alex ! Why do you not answer?” She screamed.  

She suddenly woke up, looking her mirror in front of her bed, terrorized; this was the first time something like that happened. Neverland 2.0 was a wonderful world but during a few minutes, it has been a hell…
