It was a few days after The Great Devourer. Zane was teaching Dakota how to cook. Kai, Cole, and Lloyd were training. We were at Dareths dojo.

Jay was working on a machine. Carter and I were watching.

"This is hard." Jay muttered. "Break time.".

"Tired?" I ask him.

"Yeah." he says.

Carter goes up to a big blue button.

"Don't press that." Jay says.

"Ok." says Carter.

Then he presses it.

"WHAT DID I JUS SAY!" yells Jay.

"I heard 'press it'" he says.

Jay glares at him. He just stares at Jay.

"What's that?" I ask pointing at a blue wave thingy.

"I don't know." Jays says.

The three of us stared at it. Then it made a loud noise. Everyone came running in.

Then the wave exploded. We all fell on our backs. Then everything went black.

(Time Skip)

I woke up to someone calling my name.

"TAYLER!" the person kept calling over and over.

I slowly open my eyes. I see that it's Cole is calling my name.

"Are you alright?" he asks.

"Ye, except for this headache." I say.

"Good." he says.

"What happened?" I ask.

"Carter happened." Jay says annoyed.

"Oh, yeah." I say.

Everyone, but Dakota, glared at Carter.
