When she came out...oh my god I've never been so "excited" and I don't think I was the only one. Everyone's eyes were on her. The black bikini brought out her glowing skin and her amazing body and when I say amazing I mean AAMAAZZIIINNGG.
I noticed her blushing and looked around. I was getting this feeling. I don't know what it was but it felt like ... jealousy? I got out of the pool and pulled her into the locker room.
"What are you doing?" she asked me, and honestly I didn't know what to tell her. What am I supposed to say? I didn't like the fact that all those guys were looking at you like that? She's not my girlfriend.
"Umm...you look good in a bathing suit. I wanted you all to myself" I answered. Stupid. You're so stupid Cyrus. Now she's going to think of you as that player, that guy who's after one thing.
She just looked at me with her now silver eyes and walked back out there. I just stood there for some time and then decided to walk back out.
The guys were surrounding her like a swarm. They all slickly tried to get their hands on her one way or another. I didn't like it at all.
It continued on like this for about an hour and a half or so and then we decided it was getting late. We all got changed and headed home. She dropped me off and went home herself.
Aurora's POV
I was on my way home, had the music blasting, and all of a sudden a person is in front of my car. I pressed on the brakes and stopped right in front of them.
I got out and said "What the heck?! Are you alright? What were you thinking?" and the frail young teenage girl just looked at me.
I heard a voice saying "Emily? Emily?" and a guy my age came out running to this girl.
"What did I tell you about running off?... I'm so sorry my sister just doesn't learn" the guy said to me.
I looked up from rubbing my temples and looked at him. His eyes were captured in mine and I felt stuck.
"I'm Aurora. It's my fault I didn't see her, but I'm glad I didn't hit her."
"Sebastian. It's alright it was kind of her fault...wasn't it Emily?" He said nudging her.
"Yes, I'm sorry Aurora and Sebastian" she timidly said.
Still looking at me, he said "I'm sorry for staring but your eyes are amazing. I've never seen anything like them."
I felt my cheeks become heated and simply replied "Thank you. It's a family trait."
I looked around and Emily was gone. Sebastian tried to get my attention by saying "I know we just met and all but I'd like to see you again, amongst different circumstances of course" with a smile.
Seconds later she was back tugging at her brother's shirt. They're vampires (: yay.
"If you don't mind me asking, what's your last name?" I asked.
"Deraldo, why?"
Deraldo...ugh. This sucks. I finally meet some decent vampires and they belong to an enemy family, just great.
"Have you heard...of the girl?"
"What girl are you talking about?"
"The girl... of both kinds?"
They started whispering among themselves and gave me a glance every now and then.
Finally he answered "We don't know what you're talking about"
"It's alright. I know." I said lowering my fangs and putting them back up.
"... yes we've heard. Why do you ask?" he replied.
"What are your thoughts on that?" I asked.
"Our family doesn't really approve of her kind.." he said and Emily cut him off saying "I want to meet her, I wish I was half and half."
Sebastian gave her a disapproving look and she looked down at the ground. Wow. I wonder how he feels about me. Why am I even wondering? I just met the kid. For all I know I may never see him again.
"Well nice meeting you guys, I'll have to be on my way. Maybe I'll see you around." I said as I walked to my car.
Sebastian said "We live in the mansion down the street, Deraldo Estates. You're welcome anytime beautiful eyes. Hope to see you soon."
With that I got in the car and drove home. When I got home, no one was there. I guess they went out or they're working. I decided to invite Logan over.
Within 20 minutes I showered got in some sweats and a tank top and Logan had arrived. We were just chilling and watching TV. There was a scary movie marathon on and I love scary movies so we were watching them.
At some point we both fell asleep. We were awoken to my father's angered voice shouting "Aurora Luna Valentine! What is going on here?!".
I woke up and looked about. I can get why he's angry in a way. It was probably due to the fact that it was 2 in the morning and I was asleep on the couch with some guy they've never met.
"Ok pa I know this looks bad but it's really honestly not what it looks like. This is my friend Logan, from school." I said trying to reassure him.
"What are you and "Logan from school" doing on the couch sleeping together?" he said trying to hide his anger.
"Logan I think you should go. And Dad we were just hanging out watching movies nothing happened." Logan left and I gave my parents a why-must-you-scare-away-my-only-things-close-to-friends look.
I decided to go to bed since I had about three hours until I had to get up for school.
