Chapter 6

Why am I so weird?

"It was nice for you to see her umeji" I smiled.
"Yeah well with kokona going missing I...I...well I thought...you...um..."
He seemed to be stuck on what to say next.
He's trying to keep up he tough boy act and not act soft around other people including me.
I really did feel sorry for him.
I wonder what happened to him for him to get like this.
I smiled at him.
He smiled back.
"You know it's the end of school right?" He said.
IT IS?!?!
"Oh yes I knew that haha........"
I'm a mess!
Im soooooo tired!
"Well let's get you home then" He said.
And with that he picked me up like a bridal style.
"Ah umeji?!" I lightly screamed.
"Calm down" He mumbled.
"Ah please l-let me go"
"Nope"
And with that he carried me home.

(Also just pretend that students can stay over night and recover at school)

The next day

As soon as my alarm went of that morning I rushed to get dressed.
At some point though I looked out of the window into the morning sky.
Why that red/orange sky reminds me of umeji's eyes how golden and beautiful they are.
What am I even talking about?!
He really has got into my head!

20 minutes later

Finally at school.
Now time to see Asu and ask her what the hell happened!
As I make my way down the corridor the same guy from the fountain came up to me.
"Have you found your friend yet?" He asked.
"Oh yes I have thank you for asking "
"Where is she shouldn't she be with you?"
"Oh about that after I talked to you I tripped over her unconscious body so I had to rush her to the nurse"
"If I was you I would of tuck her to the hospital"
Great first with Dairoku and now with you.
"Anyway I'm Taro. Taro Yamada and you?"
"I'm Y/N. Y/N L/N"
And we shuck hands.
"Nice to meet you Y/N"
"Nice to meet you too Taro"
We finish and i remember that i have to see Asu.
"May i please excuse myself i need to see Asu to know if she's ok"
He nodded and let me pass.

5 minutes later

I poke my head in between the doors of the nurses office.
"Oh Asu your awake!"
I run to her bed.
"I'm so happy your ok!"
"Haha yeah" She said.
"Tell me what happened"
"Well I can't remember much but when we was heading to the cherry blossom tree I was grabbed from behind and dragged to a white van I managed to escape and tried look for you when someone hit me over the head with something."
I listen in concern.
When something popped into my head.
I know who can help me with this mystery.
The bell rung and the nurse came in.
"Oh hello shouldn't you be going to class and let your friend rest"
"Yes miss" I say and walked out of the door.
When I was walking down the corridor posters were scattered along the corridor they said.

Firework dance tonight.
Must contain.
Male and female
Female and female
Male and Male
Also art club has photo booths.

A dance huh?
Sounds fun.
And walk away.

After class

I walk out of class to see everyone running to art club and seeing boys/girls ask girls/boys to got to the dance with them.
I walk to the nurses office to check Asu.
When I got there the door was locked.
That's odd.
"Its anyone In there?" I ask.
No reply.
"Asu?"
Still no reply.
"Miss L/N" I hear someone say my last name.
"Uhh.....oh hi principal"
"What are you doing out side the nurses office?"
"Oh to check up on Asu my friend..."
"Miss L/N your friend has gone to the hospital she started to choke on something" He said.
"Wheres the nurse?"
"She has gone with your friend to the hospital"
"Oh"
I look down.
The principal pointed to a group of students and said.
"Tonight is the firework dance and were trying to get all the students to do it go and get a boy to go with you and all today we have photo booths and miss L/N go make some new friends and enjoy today"
I was embarrassed because the group of students he pointed to was the delinquents and all of the stopped in place listening to see if the good girl was getting in trouble for once.
I hate you headmaster!
He turned around and left.
When I heard laughing behind me.
And of course all the delinquents were laughing except umeji.
I could feel tears building up in my eyes.
As I watch as they point and laugh.
I bolt down the corridor to the girls bathroom.
When I bump into someone.
Again?!
"Oh hi Y/N"
Huh?
"Oh ayano!?"
I started to apologise strangely away.
"Im so sorry"
"Its ok"
"No its not ok are you hurt?"
"No"
We both sat in silence.
"Um ayano can-can I spend the day with you?"
"Huh why?!"
"Because Asu is in the hospital and kokona is missing so I'm all alone"
"Why dont you hang out with umeji?"
"W-what no! Not with him and his stupid friends!"
She thought for a moment and said.
"Fine but only for today"
"Thank you so much!"

End of day

I came out of the school no one has asked you out on the firework dance.
Was I that ugly?
I thought I decent.
Oh well I get to be lazy and sit on my ass all tonight!
When I finished them words I checked my bag it was just an urge it see if I have forgotten anything.
There inside my homework book was a pink note.
I gently open it and it said.

Hi I didn't have the courage to come speak to you up front so I put it in this note.
Y/N will you go to the firework dance with me?
If you show up that means a yes.
If you dont then I know what that means.

So someone did ask me but who?
