Once upon a time
Their was a penguin. The penguin wished she could fly but couldn't.
Sadly she was never going to fly. But that didn't stop her from trying. She built wings that were like birds. And even tried to make an aeroplane but all still didn't work. So she went to her trusty old grandma. Rumour has it her grandma was a witch. So the penguin went to the grandma and asked if she could make her fly.
"But darling why would you want to fly? It's just what penguins don't do!" proclaimed grandma penguin
" I want to get out of here. Everyone is so judgmental and have no creative juice. It's SO BORING."
" Sorry darling but I can't make you fly! But i might know someone who can.!"
"Really please oh please tell me."
"alright but you must not tell anyone."
"YoU HaVEe My WoRd."
"In the deeps of the pacific ocean, you will encounter a colourful place. It will be filled with jelly. I think... Past that you will find a blue cave filled with flowers and corals. Then you will find mermaidia she will be able to make your wish come true."
"Thank you grandma thank you!"
"Now Now little one."
"what do you mean little one? I am only 12 years old!"
" In order to go into the deep ocean you will need this.
Grandma had pulled out a big submarine helmet that had colorful star everywhere. She placed it on the peguins head and spun her around.
"WOOW this is cool but can i go now."
"Goodluck darling!"
As penguin head our on her journey she said her farewell while everyone thought she was crazy. But she didn't care. All she cared about was flying. She dove into the water and was stopped by a bunch of angelfish.
" My my my, What do we have here?"
" Get out my way angel."
"the dork is trying to push me away! Look at her dorky little face. You can't go anywhere! Attack."
Penguin swam as fast as she could trying to escape the angelfish. They where right on her tail. But she stopped by a cave and hid their trying to catch her breath. The angelfish thankfully got confused and left.
"We WiLl FiNd You! hahhaha!"
penguin got up and went on her journey she had to focus on her mission. She began to swim deeper and deeper than her sumbarine helmet began to glow. She began to think this was a mistake and that she would never find the colourful lights her grandma talked about. But as she began to lose hope she saw a colourful light beam in the corner of her eye.
The Peguin Thought this was a sign and swam to the lights as if she where a magnet.
"Wow she exclaimed"
All around her she was surrounded by colorful jellyfish. changing into the different colors of the rainbow.
"Jellyfish! that's what grandma was talking about Jelly FISH!"
As she swam across a jellyfish slightly touched her shoulder sending a sharp shock into penguins veins.
"Eekk,"She cried
And began to fall deeper and deeper into the ocean then she blacked out. Hours passed and penguin slightly opened her eyes finding her self on top of a blue rock. This was it. Her journey was about to be complete. She finally made it to the blue cave. She swam to the entrance making her way across the colorful flowers.
"II have been expecting you penguin."
Startled penguin jumped banging her head on the cave roof. Who said that thought penguin.
"Ouch that must have hurt."
Out of the foggy smoke came out a purple mermaid with elf ears and teal braids. But as she opened her mouth to speak you could see the sharp pointy teeth in her mouth. Penguin backed away not knowing if she could trust this mermaid.
"Don't worry you can trust me. Come come"
Penguin followed the mermaid to a big black cauldron that already had some type of gory purple mixture inside.
" Now i do have a warning for you if you drink this your wish will come true but you will lose a leg (."the left)
Penguin was conflicted she was going to lose a leg just for her dream to fly. But she came all this way she might as well.
"Yes the deal is done."
The mermaid started to giggle as she made her way to the pot. She playfully put fish eyes, seaweed, feathers, into her potion. She then grabbed a wine glass and poured some of the mixtures into the glass. When she shook it once she exclaimed," It's ready!" She then brought it to the penguin.
"Here drink this."
Penguin took a careful look at the purple mixture and took it out of the mermaids hand. And drank it till there was no more.
Penguin began to feel a tickle in her left leg.
"The effects won't kick in until tomorrow so go home and rest. I insist."
Penguin did what she said and return home carefully making her way to the surface. She went to her grandmother house and told her all that had happened while she was on her adventure. In the morning penguin woke up to no left leg. Instead of freaking out Penguin screamed with delight and excitement. She ran out of the house (with her one leg ) to go to the tallest mountain they have at the village only to be stopped by her parents.
"Child what happened to your left leg! What did you do I bet it was your grandmother was it?"
Ignoring her parents she went to the top. This was it she spread her wings while everyone was screaming at her to get down and go home but she couldn't this was it.
