It was in Nevada in the middle of October at a civil war re enactment when I first saw her. Standing there in that old light blue victorian style dress. She didn't notice me at first for my gray uniform was no differnt from any of the others that day. As the day turned to evening I heard someone say " Come dance every one who wants to dance come learn." So I naturally walked over to see what was happening there were girls in pretty dresses of the civil war era and men all dresses up to go and fight laughing and joking and dancing in circles. Well I was asked to dance by the girl in the light blue dress so I naturally said " I'd love to ma'am." Then we started dancing around and around the whole time holding eachother close not letting go of one another we must have danced for hours but the hours felt like minutes. Quick as it happend it ended although the dancing ended we did not end with the dancing we sat down under neath a tree in the shade then talked and talked and watched the sun set behind the distant mountain the sky was on fire with colors of red, orange, and pink. Much like the sky was on fire my heart was set ablaze by this girl I had never met before in my life.
