It was another typical Tuesday.
Jimin had just returned from work, Yoongi already being home because of a small vacation. The ravenette was tense as always, working with kids had its perks, but it was tiring sometimes. Like for example, Hyojin (a snotty 5-year-old) decided it would be funny if he tripped a new student. Jimin tried to scold him, but the boy didn't listen and he didn't even have his parents' numbers so he just gave up and ignored him.
"Hey sweet-cheeks, had a tough day?" Yoongi asked his soon-to-be husband, and Jimin just tiredly nodded. Pulling off his shoes and clothes one-by-one, Jimin made his way to their shared bathroom and hopped into the shower. The tension in his shoulders slowly going away like the water running down his back. He hummed in the shower, the only song in his head was an annoying tomato song he repeated about a million times every day in his dance studio. Don't get him wrong he loves all of his students (even snotty Hyojin).
He heard the door to the bathroom creak and saw the blond mop of hair he grew to love peak inside.
"Need a towel?" He asked and the younger nodded. Yoongi placed a towel onto the counter and blew a kiss to his fiance, Jimin smiled and blew one back with a quiet 'thanks'.
Jimin turned the shower off with a quick motion and stepped out. He dried himself off with the yellow cloth on the counter, checking himself out in the mirror slightly. It was obvious his muscles got more defined due to his everyday job which required him to sweat a bit explaining the moves to impatient children.
Exiting the large bedroom in a pair of velvet booty-shorts Yoongi got him for their first anniversary and a plain long-sleeve top with some random doodle, Jimin traipsed into the kitchen to grab a snack. He usually ate at work, but his meal consisted of a small sandwich and apple juice in a carton which is not quite a fulfilling meal. The whitenette grabbed leftovers from the night before and placed them in the microwave.
He left them in to heat up for a couple of minutes and decided to go bother his lover who was absentmindedly scrolling on his phone.
"Yoonie~" echoed through the apartment. The older boy hummed from the living room and adjusted his position on the couch. Jimin smiled, standing above the latter's head, whilst Yoongi opened his arms and Jimin squealed. He jumped over the couch and landed on Yoongi's soft lap nuzzling into the older's firm chest.
"Hi, baby." Yoongi smiled and stroked Jimin's soft hair. Quietly running his hands down Jimin's back all the way to his Venus' dimples made him feel at home. The younger smiled into the crook of his neck and pecked at the uncovered skin. A soft purr was heard on the loveseat, as Angel admired her owners. They were like a real family.
"Let's watch something on TV after I finish eating," Jimin suggested, and Yoongi immediately nodded. Spending time with Jimin was one of his favorite activities to do. Today was more of a day in which they would just talk about life, a bit about the wedding dates and Angel. The cat was like a child to them.
She was there when everything got better, and stayed that way.
A beep was heard in the kitchen and Jimin smooched his significant other's cheek before he hopped away to eat something. Yoongi laid on the couch just pondering about everything. Did they really need a wedding? Yes, it was quite obvious that they loved each other but did they really want to experience all of that stress just to confirm their love in front of people who already know about it? Not really. They had briefly talked about eloping and just ditching the wedding, having a honeymoon in Hawaii. Jimin probably shrugged the idea off. Well, Yoongi could take this opportunity and talk to him about it in a minute.
"You sure you don't want food babe?"
"Nah, I ate some of the ice cream in the freezer and watched Food Wars with Angel."
