"Did cha forger your keys, Cas?" I announced after a moment of silence in the car... since our fav song (Wouldn't it be nice) was playing.

Cassie reaches over to the stereo and turns the nob left a little bit so that the music wasn't blasting our eardrums anymore.

"Yep" she says popping the P

Of course she did. I thought to myself whilst turning on my indicator to turn right, which goes into the mall.

"...ang, we've never been to this mall before... don't you just want to go somewhere we're used to? Like... diamond crest? Or even rocket legend?" Cassie said, her brows forming a crease on her forehead... symbolising her "worried face."

I knew why she said it though, yes it's true we haven't been to this mall but there were also rumours that people who go in don't come out... or just don't come out the same at least.

"They have a forever 21 in here. I really need new scrunches" I say, pouting my bottom lip out.

"Ugh fine. But, if something goes wrong, and bloody hell it will, I'm out."

Truth is... I just wanted to go in to see what all the fuss was about... but also in this town, we don't have a forever 21 anywhere aside from in here... and I did need new scrunches...

I pull up alongside the curb to drop Cas off at the entrance so I can go find a parking space... much to my surprise she refused to go out without me.

It didn't take long to find a parking space... it wasn't all too busy, possibly only 15-20 cars were in the carpark... usually in the more popular malls of our town, there would be at last 70-80 cars on a average Sunday... but like I said, this is no ordinary mall, with all the rumours and stuff.

The sight of the cars didn't put Cas at ease as she fiddled with her promise ring that Jacob gave to her right before he became a jackass. I still can't believe she hasn't taken it off... though she claims to be over him, she clearly isn't, and I'm not sure if she'll ever be.

We were pretty quiet while walking the long length of the outdoor carpark from my car to the entrance... pretty much just trying to imagine what could, and won't, happen in the mall.

I look over at Cas. She got tired of fiddling with Jacobs ring and is now kicking bits of rock and concrete from the ground, as though they were soccer balls.

The sky is a pretty shade of azure blue, with just a few clouds decorating the sky.

"WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING!" Cas screams into my ear (being over dramatic as usual) as I admire the sky.

Then, everything happened in a flash. I hear what could only be a motorcycle coming my way... realising this, I take my gaze off the sky and back in front of my, but it was too late. The motorcycle already swept my feet in the air, my face was crammed into the headlight, whilst the rest of my body was forced on the fork of the motorcycle by gravity's will.

I let out a scream and I couldn't even move because of the amount of speed we were going at... must've at least been 200 km/h if not more. If I tried to get up, the sheer force would just push me back in my given state. My legs were bending now at an extremely uncomfortable angle too close to my back, my lower back was shrieking in pain, and I could hear Cassie screaming at me... or the rider I don't even know what she was saying since the sound of the engine was unfathomable.
About a couple seconds later, the rider must've realised I was there, and stopped the motorcycle.

When the motorcycle stopped, gravity flopped me over onto my right side, on the concrete ground... very very hard.

Everything went black.
