what matters in friendship?

Hey there,

Its my first attempt to write something, kindly bear with it.🙈 I thought of writing my point of view on friendship which has become an integral part of our lives.

Growing up realizes that any friendship belt doesn't tie up your friendship, it’s only your maturity that will bond your friendship. Is it necessary that the ones who called themselves as ‘best friend’ need to always be in touch with each other? Is it necessary for them to know every minute details of each other lives? I think no it’s not, what matters is the realization  that there is one friend out there who will always be there no matter what, who will consider me as a companion, who need not to know the details for getting advices, and to whom I will always matters, whether I be a successor or a failure.

Friendship memories neither grow with time nor how much fun you had with each other, or how many crazy or stupid things you have done, memories does not always include the happy part, it’s all about what your friendship have gone through years and still standing, strong and determined. It test you at a time when you want to have a fight with them, want to win an argument but eventually doesn’t utter a word, as you can’t afford to lose them just to prove that you’re right; perks of growing up: fights doesn’t start in first period and ended in lunch breaks, sometimes it takes half your life or in worst case its doesn’t end at all…ahhh EGO of mankind wiped away the friendship.

As we have grown up or say “mature”, the meaning of friendship has changed. Earlier it was just the person with whom you are sharing your lunch box, but now thanks to Bollywood movies, friendship brings us many expectations and is all about promises. Expectations that your friend will share their secrets, will always be your side no matters what. And promises to be each other support in ups and downs. But aren’t expectations and promises are the rules of the “BUSINESS”? Does friendship is a business? Give and take relations and done for only profits..?
