Hufflepuff| With great shame to her family, Nymphe was sorted into the House Hufflepuff, among her family the house was considered weak and lower than the others.At one time she was ashamed and defeated by her families constant nagging she tried to distance herself from her house members, eventually fed up with the lonely isolation she took her house up with pride.
Personality
Much like the rest of her family, Nymphe has a cold and harsh demeanor about her. She comes off as someone who believes they are better than others -due to her family being so held up on being pure bloods she was always taught that she was better than most people who were either half blood, muffle born, and even muggles- she always has a look of annoyance and slight disgust on her face which seems odd for a Hufflepuff. Much like her sisters she is also very stern and logical, having taken after Narcissa Malfoy the most, she is always the brains of the situation; she is never one to jump at a situation unless she has some sort of plan that will grant her absolute success. Like her sister Bellatrix, she is extremely loyal and can't be swayed easily, she is also skilled in charms and potions (among many other things), she can be a bit frightening and seem slightly "out of it" which most people either link to her sister or to her house personality. At the same time, she is also like Andromeda; kind, understanding, and a rebel. Despite most of her family being cruel to others and overall heartless, Nymphe is rather kind considering how often she gets bullied and teased about her family. She is also very understanding when it comes to others problems; having come from a family that had many problems as it was she could understand and sympathize with others, to the great horror and shame of her family. However, her connections to her extremely evil family does rub off on her and if she is even slightly pushed over the edge she will pop and she does not give mercy when she reaches such a state; much like her sister Bellatrix is has no problem hexing someone if they try to harm her and she has no mercy for liars, cheaters, and rats.
Backstory
Nymphe Black was conceived through a scandalous affair between her mother Durella Rosier and her mother's brother-in-law -and Nymphe's father- Orion Black. Before Nymphe was born Orion and Durella had ended their affair and Durella had decided to let her husband believe she was his. For many years the lie was kept up but Narcissa found out about the said affair and child through a mere chance; upon hearing her mother yell at the young Nymphe for spilling a potion, the young child whimpered for her father, when her cries were heard by their mother she proceeded to tell the young girl that her father was truly Orion Black and not the name who had raised her. Narcissa kept the secret quiet and hidden from her other sister's and warned anyone who would try and investigate the young girls striking a resemblance to her uncle more than her father. Throughout her childhood, Nymphe was always taught magic and by the time it was time to enter her school years she was keen on charms and potions.
Her first year at Hogwarts, was a normal enough one, aside from the fact that she had her "nephew" Malfoy and the famous Harry Potter all in one class. She was rather quiet and uncaring when it came to the problems that were going on around her until her second year, when people started turning up dead or missing, she was questioned by not only teachers and students but also the Ministry of Magic, they feared that Nymphe would turn out like her older sister Bellatrix and they wanted to contain any evil she may have had. Of course, the young girl hadn't a clue as to what was going on or why it was going on and she was allowed back to school under the close watch of the teachers.
Her third year went along smoothly aside from the constant reminder that she was a Black and that her cousin was Draco.
Her fourth year however, was much different. During this year she watched as Harry was placed in the games and she was the first to realized that something was wrong and familiar about the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. Upon the arrival for You-Know-Who she had the worst of nightmares that predicted a deadly battle on the school grounds; this was only the start of her visions and she went to Dumbledore with the dreams. She was told to keep them quiet and not let anyone know.
The rest of her time at Hogwarts was a hard one, she to You-Know-Who's return people looked at her differently and they all feared she would betray the school, at the same time her family feared that she'd betray them.
She was constantly stuck in a battle of good and evil and when it was time for her and Malfoy to take up their Death Rates mark, she fled the scene unable to do so.
She had picked Hogwarts over her family and was forever burned from her family tree. Only her sister Andromeda was with her now.
